R Markdown documents can be reproduced. You can use a productive notebook interface for combining code and narrative text to create elegantly formatted output. Multiple languages are supported, including R, Python, SQL. R Markdown supports many different output formats, including HTML, PDF and MS Word. R Markdown is a data science authoring framework. To use both, you can use one R Markdown file. The file opens in the RStudio IDE and becomes a notebook interface to R. Each code chunk can be run by clicking the icon. RStudio executes your code and displays the results inline with the file.

Byword
Write a blog post, a story, or a school report from wherever you are. Markdown allows you to format text using keyboard shortcuts, subtle syntax highlight, word counters with live updates, and many other features. All your documents, across all your devices. Dropbox and iCloud allow you to create documents in Byword on your Mac, and then access them on your iPad or iPhone. You can also do the reverse. They can be edited from any location, on any device. Markdown support is available in Byword. You can preview your documents in the app, export to HTML or PDF, or publish directly on Medium, WordPress Blogger, Tumblr, Evernote, and Tumblr. Technical limitations and limited development resources are the reasons rich text support is not available. We are currently evaluating the benefits and costs of rich text support for iOS. We strongly recommend that you use plain text and markdown formats for your documents. Macworld has a great article that explains why plain text is a good choice today.

Scroll Sync in StackEdit binds the scrollbars on the editor panel and preview panels to ensure you can always see the output while you write. StackEdit can sync files with Google Drive and Dropbox, as well as GitHub. You can also publish them to Blogger, WordPress, and Zendesk.
