Waste of time, RUN AWAY. Date: Jun 02 2023
Summary: One day my 10 page site with drop downs and a contact page with 100 photos of my work was reduced to a single page. They don't know what happened or how to fix it, they lead you to believe it is someone else's fault and direct you to articles that have little relevance. The pseudo "tech" on the phone smirked at my comments as if to laugh at me for being frustrated. Sad since I was using the same host for 12 years. Total incompetency now. My business has suffered as a result of their inability to correct issues. My site was hacked and I reached out for help but none was available.
Positive: The pros are leaving this nightmare company in my past. I liked Yahoo business hosting but this company is an unbelievable bunch of Yahoos themselves.
Negative: Customer service is ridiculous, incompetent phone reps don't have a clue about the product they represent, they read from scripts over and over again. Major language barrier, thick Indian accent makes it impossible to understand, I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR OVER AND OVER, NO SUCH THING EXISTS. I had Yahoo business hosting for 12 years, then this happened, I guess they have been hosting me for a while since I never knew Yahoo was gone until I had an issue, I have no choice but to leave. If I could give no stars I would.

Summary: Was fine (though never great) before the whole lumier/abaco/turbify nonsense. moving over to GoDaddy as I type.
Positive: Easily integrated PayPal payment processing. Coupon manager. Lower selling fees than Etsy/Amazon/Ebay.
Negative: Shut me down for weeks on end during a transition from Yahoo to Turbify. We were told 4 days...it is now week 4 and I can't add products for another 3 - 4 weeks! These stores draw little traffic and yahoo nor the subsequent administrators seem to care.

Summary: Disgusting, and I am actively looking for an alternative. I just cannot take off a whole morning to log back in every time I get locked out!
Positive: Relatively inexpensive, and it carried over from the old Yahoo BizMail, so I had no choice when it was sold (several times apparently, and gets worse every time).
Negative: Terrible function, customer service knows its a poor quality product; can't understand their accent, I get locked out regularly, does not integrate with Yahoo easily.

Summary: Find another service.
Positive: Nothing absolutely nothing good I can say about this pathetic company that is being run by morons.
Negative: Pathetic lack of customer service. My website functions are 60% not working. Not getting emails for orders still able to capture. Going on For more than 6 weeks and maybe in June I’ll see some improvement…doubt it. For sure we will see a class action suit that I hope bankrupts them.

Summary: Will not put you through to a supervisor..... they just apologize and say sorry for the inconvenience, then when I asked for a supervisor they say supervisor not available....I told them I will file a complaint and could I have supervisor's name she say "We have many supervisors" and I told her that I have asked her SIX times for a supervisor and I find it REMARKABLE how have "many" and no one is available....will change this hosting service to another company.
Positive: Have not experienced any pros.
Negative: Customer service is scripted and sounds like a broken record and don't really know how to satisfy a customer. Called 8 times just to speak with different reps and still get the same experience.

Summary: There are many excellent e-commerce platforms. DO NOT pick Turbify. We were on yahoo small business who sold the e-commerce platform to Verizon, and now this mess called Turbify. This company needs to go out of business and let competent competitor take over.
Positive: None. Complete disaster since Turbify took over from Verizon. No competent help available. No resolution available. I will be seeking a charge-back for the fees I paid this company.

Summary: Truly incompetent company. It's a living nightmare. It's like being held hostage. Basically a scam.
Positive: None. They ruined Yahoo Small Business. They had no business purchasing this platform in the first place.
Negative: They will charge you for a service for which they cannot provide and will ruin your customer base in the process.

04/25/20253 Updates to the Small Business Solutions is totally disastrous. Date: Apr 30 2023
Summary: LOSS OF SALES, LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.
Positive: Nothing. My website cannot be accessed. Nothing works on the Store Control panel and cannot do updates to pages. Servers could not locate the website.
Negative: Everything. The updates don't work and caused my website to be inaccessible. I cannot get all the tools I should be able to get from the store control panel. I finally could get into the website but updates to items don't work from the home pages "new Items." In the category, updates to products time out and don't update. Clicks on the home tabs don't work and site times out. Clicking on the Publish tab times out and does not go to "publishing." I've paid since 2007 and Yahoo was great. Now this Turbify company hasn't got a clue how to fix anything. The reps are of course from India and very difficult to understand their accent. The connections on the phone are poor with a lot of background noise and static. Turbify, you are costing me sales and should compensate me for my losses. Turbify, you should have studies these updates long before you put all your customers' websites in jeopardy. You are negligent in your business practices and in breach of contract with your customers. GET YOUR MESS FIXED ASAP. Who am I is one of your questions, I am the owner of my website and your customer. Your reps have not offered much help. I called by they directed me to the pages to click "I'm affected." They should have submitted all my information to the whomever is supposed to know what they are doing.

Screwed the pooch Date: Apr 30 2023
Summary: Starting on Wednesday April 26th Turbify said they were conducting maintenance that disrupted the ability to place orders for 8 hours and the ability to get into the Store Manager (administration side) until mid afternoon Saturday (April 29th). So no processing of orders or ability to update pricing, inventory etc.
Since access was restored I now discover that they have broken the inventory feature and it will not be restored until June!!! I'm operating a retail store, how can I do that without the ability to adjust inventory?
In addition the ability to upload database changes to my existing product catalog is non-functional. I sell products that change in value in real time (precious metals) and I have been using this feature for 15 years to quickly adjust pricing for 200 items at a time. This is criminal. I have filed a trouble ticket but at this time I do not have any faith that they will be getting this fixed.
When I set up the website in 2009 Yahoo Small Business was a good fit for me. Now that I have built a site with over 300 pages it makes it hard to want to move to a different host so I resisted doing so. I do not think I can put it off any longer.Positive: None.
The only pro to using Turbify to host your webstore would be that you need a tax write-off, if so you can use these guys.Negative: Cannot integrate with PayPal Payflow. Only PayPal options are Payments Standard and PayPal Pro. However PayPal Pro is a legacy product that PayPal no longer offers. They have not figured out how to implement the newer Payflow.

Fees are high. $40 per month plus 1.5% of invoices (including shipping).
Abysmal customer support. Yahoo switched support to India based call centers and Verizon (Luminate) and Turbify have kept this arrangement. The TS phone calls routinely run to an hour or more and rarely result in fixes. Time I can never get back. -

Summary: We started with Yahoo and all was well. When we needed to make a change it all went sideways. They locked us out and refuse to help in any way. Hours with "Tech Support" and not even a shred of understanding, compassion or caring. We are now out of business and so far unable to get it recovered.
There are many better options at a fraction of the price.Positive: I am trying to think of anything good to say. The best I can come up with is that I'm glad I don't use their services.
Negative: Everything is automated so if you have a problem they cannot help you.

Their website and tools are archaic, and look like something from the 1990's.

Summary: Horrible scammers, need to be sued! Worst customer service. They lie and put you on hold and do anything to steal your domain. Your domain is not safe with them!
Positive: Nothing!! Company is a scam.. they are trying to steal our domain!! They put you through outsource customer service who will not help and will not put you through to anyone that could help so they can steal your domain to resell it!! Do not use!!!
Negative: We've had our domain for 20+ years never had a problem with Yahoo. Turbify bought them out. They sent us an email to renew and when we tried to access they have been putting us through a nightmare! Even though we have provided every type of proof it's our domain, including the emails they sent us to renew, they refuse to give us access! Now we are past our renewal date and our business website and email are down and we are headed into the busy season!!! We are losing business and they said we need to get a court order for our own website even though we've provided all the proof they asked for. I think they are trying to scam us to steal our domain and resell it!!! They should be reported. So many one stars someone should file a class action lawsuit against them!!

Turbify has damaged my site and has poor customer service Date: Mar 22 2023
Summary: My overall experience with Turbify has been utterly horrible. Run from Turbify!!! Really, I do understand that a data migration may have some glitches, but to nearly destroy a person's website and then make virtually no effort to correct it through a non-responsive customer service platform is unbelievable. Turbify should not be in this business.
Positive: Actually, there is nothing I like about Turbify. My experiences with their system and their customer service have all be horrible and frustrating.
Negative: Turbify required me to change my nameservers. They migrated the data, and thoroughly messed up my website. My pages are getting 443 / 404 errors from Google (Google has even notified me). I have been in contact with Turbify for nearly 5 weeks, and the problem has not been corrected. My number of visitors and income have plummeted. Their system is not working and their customer service is bad - they can never provide any useful information in the rare instance when they actually respond.

Positive: Not Yahoo anymore. Was with them for 20+ yrs. Good service and good site builder program. Inexpensive.
Negative: They hang up on you all the time if you have nothing nice to say about their service and they NEVER call you back even though you ask them to if you get disconnected.
