TradingView Description

TradingView is a new venture by a group developers and traders who have experience in building trading software. They share a vision that trading technology should not be difficult, powerful, or accessible to all. The idea of bringing interactive charts to anyone around the globe via any browser was realized by taking advantage of the latest advances in cloud computing and browser language. TradingView is a social network for traders that allows them to communicate, learn, share ideas, and improve their skills. It's an easy way for traders to instantly share live charts with technical analysis ideas. This is the first step towards a fully functioning trading platform in a web browser.

At EXMO.com, we are proud to endorse TradingView

    Date: Feb 08 2024

Summary: At EXMO.com, we are proud to endorse TradingView as a comprehensive financial platform that consolidates a vast database of statistics and financial information related to the crypto market. This all-in-one solution provides our users with a seamless experience for all their financial needs. With features like alerts, watchlists and Sparks, TradingView is especially valuable for those who may not have the opportunity to continuously monitor the market.

One of the standout features that we appreciate about TradingView is its ability to offer a full cycle of trading without having to leave the platform. Users can analyse price movements with customisable indicators and drawing tools, as well as upgrade their trading strategies with TradingView’s extensive collection of technical analysis indicators like Bollinger Bands or MACD. TradingView has become an indispensable resource for the trading community at EXMO.com.

Positive: - A vast database of statistics and financial information covering the economy, markets, and companies, along with access to data from exchanges and brokers – all consolidated in one place.
    - Useful features like Alerts, Watchlists, lists of popular assets (Sparks), and other tools catering to individuals who may not have the opportunity to continuously monitor the market.
    - Full trading cycle: without leaving TradingView, users can explore market conditions, analyse the news, inform themselves about trading ideas from the community, conduct fundamental and technical analysis, choose a broker, connect and initiate trades.

Negative: Overall, TradingView stands out for its positive contributions, providing an array of features and tools that enhance the trading experience on EXMO.com. No noticeable cons have been identified, making it a reliable and favoured platform among users.

The best Technical Analysis charting app for *ALL* skill levels

    Date: Jul 28 2021

Summary: Trading View is an extraordinary tool to perform technical analysis on stock charts, cryptocurrency charts, indexes, futures, options, Forex, and more. It can be linked to you brokerage for trading directly through the app following buy and sell positions the user plots.
The wealth of indicator tools is not only packed with every industry standard such as Fibonacci Retracement and Trend Channels but users can contribute their own custom indicators which can be sampled and used freely. The Trading View community is extremely active, helpful and there are always fresh perspectives among all markets.

Personally, I am in awe of this app every day. I have stock charts and crypto charts with months of indicators overlayed that I can always refer to. It's a pleasure visually as well. Gorgeous but not overdone graphics with many customization options.

For new users it can be overwhelming at first but Trading View offers many guides within the app as well as the many user contributed tutorials. The learning curve is relatively steep but it really can't be avoided for such a complex field of analysis.

For intermediate and advanced users, it has everything one could ever need in my opinion (upper intermediate user). One of the great features for the seasoned user is the freedom one has to customize the colors, shapes, chart lines and overall feel of the app. Technical analysts tend to be very idiosyncratic about their setup and Trading View caters to this wonderfully. Sometimes I can't even recognize the app when I see certain users screens!

Finally, if one is at a level where they feel comfortable trading directly through the app this can be done, as I have with my broker. The links are flawless and really make trading more efficient and successful. (This is only useable on the desktop version. There mobile app is more of a paired down version since charting requires large screens in my opinion)
Trading View is also generous in what can be done in the free version of the app. Beginners will be busy for a year with the basics. They also offer several tiers of paid subscriptions. Each one offers larger numbers of indicators per chart and number of saved charts allowed. It's a bit on the expensive side but when I consider the tools at my disposal it's well worth it to me.

I highly recommend Trading View for anyone getting started in trading assets and analyzing charts as well for advanced, skilled users. Look no further, this is THE APP used by hundreds of thousands of traders around the world. It's a slam dunk!

Positive: -Huge library of indicator overlays and drawing tools
-Great guides for beginners and deep customizations for advanced users
    -Syncs flawlessly across multiple devices
-Connect to many popular exchanges directly
    -Beautiful GUI
    -Free version is useful

Negative: -Placing drawing tools precisely is finicky on mobile app version
-Can only save 5 charts & 5 indicators per chart with Premium Plan
-Expensive tiers for Premium opens plans can price out intermediate users

The best system to study a graph much more thoroughly.

    Date: May 04 2023

Summary: TradingView is a very good platform in general, it offers very advanced functions to study each chart in detail, you can add alerts to each chart, you can add favorite currencies for closer monitoring, also TradingView has served to improve the general study of each currency, I can add shapes and predict the movement of a chart, and then I can view the progress of that chart to see my prediction. I was very satisfied with TradingView, it is a very complete platform to add indicators, shapes, trend lines and much more to study charts more broadly.

Positive: 1. It has a very extensive list of raw materials, Forex assets, cryptocurrencies and many other projects. In TradingView you can consult the graphs, statistics and details of any currency that exists within the financial market or any commodity asset.

    2. When you have done a market study on a specific currency, you can share that study with the TradingView community or forum, to receive comments, feedback, reactions and much more, in addition, you will be able to see how the graph has progressed since you did the study .

    3. You can add all kinds of trend lines, horizontal lines and more, you can also add indicators, you can use the Fibonnacci service and many other indicators that make it easier for you to study the chart.

    4. All the graph studies that you carry out are automatically saved as a draft, each time you access that graph, you will have all the trend lines and everything that you had previously added to the graph.

Negative: 1. It is a platform that has many resources that must be loaded on each device, therefore, the loading of each of the resources causes TradingView to be a platform that consumes a lot, you must have a good computer and a good mobile device to use it correctly.

    2. It is not easy to use at all, if you do not have previous experience in Trading and studying currency and commodity charts, you will have a hard time understanding TradingView's functionalities.

    3. You cannot write the chart study concept in a language other than English, this causes TradingView to not be able to be used correctly in other countries with other languages.

Pretty Cool Company. Customer Support = Average At Best

    Date: Dec 20 2021

Summary: TradingView as a web application is pretty damn solid. When it comes to interacting with their support staff and finding solutions, my experience hasn’t been so noteworthy. Planning to end my Premium membership after I find a quality app to replace the void.

Positive: TradingView as a web application is pretty damn good. Robust features, an ever growing audience and there’s not much to complain about regarding their charts either.

Negative: Customer Support is timely in response however I’m not sure they’re very technical.
