Tonfotos makes it easy to browse large photo collections by grouping photos by dates, people, locations, etc. No matter where files are stored, you can quickly find what you need, whether they are on your computer, external drives or NAS.

Tonfotos artificial intelligence will automatically identify faces in your photos and help to mark images that include family members and friends. The program automatically learns from previously marked photos and offers new photos with the same people. Tonfotos can recognize faces regardless of age and can be used even if only a part of the face is visible.

You can collect in one place not just family photos but also reference and genealogical data about distant relatives, ancestors, and friends. You can quickly and easily move between relatives by filling in the information on the person's card.

    Summary: Hopeful cons will be solved in future development. In that case Tonfoto's can be a good alternative to f.e. Windows Photo Gallery and ACDSee.

    Positive: Simplicity, folder organised, easy titles, titles stored in iptc, easy duplicates removal, good face recognition.

    Negative: Cannot sort on name (most photos are from WhatsApp and dates have to be manually corrected; my names have the dates), cannot move files in folders, name and titles not standard showing with thumbnails.
