Summary: In the 2+ years of using ThermoGRID, we have never waited more than 30 minutes for a response from customer support. It helps level the playing field for a small operation looking to compete with bigger companies in the same market. Like any other technology, it's only as good as the people using it. Good data in will absolutely yield good results
Positive: Can customize the software to fit your business model
Virtually impossible to forget a job/project on the "back burner"
Engineering analysis tool is a practical alternative to Wrightsoft and no load calculation at all
Customer support is First ClassNegative: Nothing that wouldn't apply to any other new software implementation... time needed to set up, learning curve, etc.

Summary: Great overall experience. I was given as much help as I needed in set up and unlimited training
Positive: Very intuitive platform. Decreases my day to day responsibilities without me even needing to think about it. Load Calculations right from the field is such a benefit. Appreciate that I can market without even needing to put an effort in.
Negative: Automatic job costing that the platform provides eliminated the majority of the work that I needed a full time employee to complete so I essentially had to reassign their position to other tasks.

Summary: I like the software. I like the feel and how it flows together. I like being able to sync with QuickBooks. I would recommend it to anyone.
Positive: ThermoGrid is a well rounded software that is constantly evolving. From invoicing to keeping track of your customer base, it does it. I like being able to tailor it to fit my needs.
Negative: I feel the support and training could be better. They are very thorough in their reply and call you back pretty quickly, just not a fan waiting.

Summary: Great option for businesses looking for a software, even those that are not HVAC companies. We were looking for a management solution for over a year before finding ThermoGrid, and I am extremely thankful we continued to look until finding ThermoGrid. I see our company growing with ThermoGrid for the long term and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a field service management solution.
Positive: Ease of use and the accessibility of help when questions about how to use the software arise. The ability of system customization is a tremendously helpful feature making this software desirable.

Summary: I do t think any of this type of software is perfect, unless maybe you are an HVAC company I could see ThermoGrid being pretty close to perfect. I have a small Radon Mitigation business and we have made this product work. It’s better the the 3 other options I tried before settling on ThermoGrid.
Positive: I’ve been with ThermoGrid for about 5 years now. They have gone through a ton of changes, mostly for the better since being bought by ECI. There are a ton of tracking functions and I really like their scheduling.
Negative: The terminology for the different steps doesn’t make sense but once you understand what they mean you can translate to any business.

Summary: Until they get proper training SOP's together and trained employees to help via phone in real time. They shouldn't sell home service software. When it's peak season and you can't take payments or the invoice price keeps changing and your in the clients house. Opening a help ticket doesn't work.
We switched product after our 1 year contract and have 1 user to access old files and quotes from last year.Positive: You can set pricing based on a GPM. The trainers and sales people are great! Clients can pay and sign via email. You can upload pics and you can give 6 options but is time consuming
Negative: No training videos that lead you to call in, they own so many software companies that anyone who answers can't help you, so then they make a ticket and someone will reply to ask questions. The reply is usually within 24 hrs but if you are a home service company you need answers right away. They have very few trainers (who are great and very helpful) which leads them to have find time to help you. They could use short videos to help the trainers. The software is very in depth and does lots which is very hard to remember it all going through their video/Google Meets/Zoom demonstrations.

Summary: I regret implementing ThermoGrid into our daily operations. There are better options. This looks great in sales however, the product delivered is very different than what is promised. We had invoice issues, operational issues, billing issues, the list goes on.
I have requested a refund we will see what they follow through on.Positive: The support staff happens to be the best part of ThermoGrid. Everyone is cordial and follows up with training.
Negative: We as a team of 10 employees disliked ThermoGrid for various reasons. I feel we were sold a platform that is in beta. It feels like you have us locked into an agreement for one year so you can collect money and feedback while TG is being built. It seems like contractors are being squeezed while you milk them and promise to deliver using very costly (to the contractor) training over and over again. You will be billed regardless of results. The support and training staff are very limited with what they can do when the customer is let down.

Summary: The company owner before kept telling me they were going to launch an app that was going to be fix the problems Like being extremely slow.
Positive: Nothing, is extremely slow and will not work if you have no internet service stop using over a year ago.
Negative: The program is very difficult for technicians and office personnel to use. We have upset many employees and customers going to this software. Mobile features were absolutely a nightmare. ECI owns ThermoGRID and the customer service is poor. I haven't used their software for my company in over a year and have been for over a couple months trying to end service with them and they tell me I can't until 7/23. This is the worst company to deal with since they are under new owner ship!

Summary: Poor and a waste of money. To get your own company data is expensive on top of your monthly fees. If you have a problem don't hold your breath as we suffered a long time!
Positive: The owner/developer helped us in the beginning to set up. He sold to ECI and probably made a substantial amount of money. Now there is nothing good I can say about the company. It takes days to get a response from them.

Buyer Beware, Fine Print Locks You In. No Free Trial Date: May 09 2019
Summary: Horrible experience. I've never been a part of something like this. Signed up because the presentation was good and seemed friendly. Once you sign however, you'll receive the applications and fill out forms. I was rejected by the merchant services company they use that works with their software. Their software will not work with another credit card company according to them. I tried to cancel but I was locked in and they would NOT let me out. If you read their fine print, and you have to really look hard, it's a link in their fine print that takes you to the Actual fine print. You'll find out that the system doesn't even have to work, or be received, to lock you in. Think about that for a minute. I wish I had been warned beforehand, lucky you for reading this before me and unlucky me for falling victim to the fine print.
Positive: Never recieved software but the presentation and initial conversations were good. I believed the words on their website about Values, but I know now that those are just keywords for internet searches and hold no legal value or meaning. The real values are in their fine print, which locks you in whether their product works or doesn't work, whether you receive or not.
Negative: Locked into an agreement, never received the software, stuck with a collection. Spoke with owner and BBB, Fine Print locks you in whether you receive product or not, whether it works or not, no matter what- once you sign your name you're locked.
