    Clean Format, Colorful, and Simple

    Summary: Excellent so far. Pleasure to find something that works seamlessly! Clean, colorful design is visually appealing and features, such as photo attachment, deleting messages, group text, ect are easily accessed.

    Positive: I Love this app! I was forced into Google Messages when Samsung discontinued their text service. I hated it and luckily discovered Textra. I'm a visual person and the colorful well-spaced layout of texts is appealing. Easy to attach photos, ect bcuz icons are clear and consistent, unlike Google Messages. Easy to add contacts, delete messages and when I searched for a friend whose name was Not in my Contacts, the cutest, most colorful little bee buzzed around, as if looking for someone who wasn't there! That feature was an unexpected plus! I swear I will keep making up fake contact names just to see that animated bee!

    Negative: Like Google Messages, I believe that messages in Trash are permanently deleted. Samsung used to have ability to restore, and I miss that.

    Summary: Love how well it works and how you can customize it. Even after a decade, its still my favorite message app.

    Positive: I keep trying other message options but always end up coming back to Textra. been using Textra for over 10 years now. I love all the customizable features. I love that I can 'like' a message and assign different people their own message tone.

    Negative: When you receive a message, it just says Textra message. It does not show the person that sent it until you open the message.

    Summary: My contacts and I are not overly thrilled with textras delivery system. My contacts state that they are not getting texts timely, even tho on my end it appears that my texts have been sent, timely.

    Positive: The one thing I don't see anyone mention is the extended delayed receipt of messages to my contacts. Textra is definitely not an instantaneous messaging system. I sure will miss samsungs messaging system when it is killed off in July. Aes

    Negative: Extended delayed delivery of outgoing messages to contacts, and incoming messages. Definitely not instantaneous! Multiple contacts not pleased with very lengthy delayed messaging. I have canceled my VPN because textra claimed that was a prblm.
