Samsung Messages Description

Use the Messages app to stay in touch with your contacts. It's easy to send emojis and photos, or just to say hello. You can do so many things with your messages like mute conversations and assign message tones for specific contacts. The following instructions and features apply to the Samsung default messaging app. It is available on Samsung phones with software version Android 9.0 Pie or higher. These instructions do NOT apply to third-party or carrier apps. Samsung has everything you need to customize your phone's style. You can change the theme of your phone to customize the appearance of your Messages app. You can change the font used in Messages by changing the font settings on your phone. You can also create a background or wallpaper for each message thread. Tap the conversation you wish to customize and then tap More options (the three vertical dots). Finally, tap Customize wallpaper.

    Summary: There is nothing that this application does wrong. What it does, it does well. It's just that more customizable options exist.

    Positive: This allows you to message from your phone to your contacts. Comes with Samsung devices. Integration with Samsung emoji is cute.

    Negative: It seems like pre-installed apps like this don't have nearly as many customization options as other messaging apps available.
