    Worst customer service

    Summary: At first, everything seemed perfect with Taptap Send until I had to deal with their customer service. My account was suspended simply because I used 2-3 payment cards, all registered under my name. When I contacted customer support, they requested some documents, which I promptly provided. However, without properly reviewing them, they still decided to suspend my account.

    When I asked for a specific reason, I received no clear response—just a generic reply stating that the relevant team would review my account within 7 days. After that period passed with no update, I followed up with several emails, only to receive the same copy-pasted, scripted responses with no real resolution.

    This has been the most frustrating customer service experience I’ve ever had. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone. If you want to avoid unnecessary headaches, I’d strongly suggest using more reliable, local remittance providers instead.

    Positive: Good rates, compared to other remittance app. App interface is also user friendly. No other pros in this crap app.

    Negative: No customer service at all, don’t send your money through them.

    Summary: Bad super bad experience you have to return the money and give some updates i will never use this again.

    Positive: I send money last Saturday until now its already Tuesday and i did not receive it in my account.
    No feedback or any updates from tap tap.
    This is so bad app.

    Negative: Nothing was good to this.
    I was sending email for 3 consecutive days but no answer at all.

    Not advisable to use this app when you really need to wend money that are in need.

    Positive: The worst app to use when you want to send any money to anyone is the call tap tap. I will not use them again.

    Failed Transaction

    Summary: Taptap Send was unable to complete my transaction saying technical issue and taken around 10 days to inform me. Keep telling that the transaction will be today, When i was calling them. Now the currency rate is dropped and i have to send money with latest rate which means i am losing money with the current rate. I send money with you because of same day transaction even your rate is bit lower than others - there is also a good rate with other senders with standard transaction. After i raised the issue, you cancelled the transaction stating technical issue. But not resolved the issue of me loosing money. Very disappointed

    Positive: It is not a good way dealing with an issue when I raised a complain of long delays in transaction as You cancelled the transaction instead of resolving it. It seems like the rate are too low than the period i requested this transaction.

    Bank needs reverse on cash blocked in my account

    Summary: Currently poor service currently my account is minus $2000 that I sent in February 5th 2024. Could someone out there please fix this.

    Positive: Poor customer service am trying to get help here but I get the same response that someone will get in contact I have made calls & even emailing no support at all. All I need is someone to reverse cash blocked in my account so I could stop having negative balance & be able to use my account.

    Pathetic customer care and operations

    Summary: I have done transfer transaction to India from UAE. unfortunately I have mistakenly put wrong account number. I request multiple times to do correction the account number or approach for refund. It seems they want to scam it for minor mistakes.

    Positive: Free of cost. Online operations will help you. They are giving promo codes to users.

    Negative: The way they reply to your mail. Always same emails which is auto generated. They won't read your email. Seems likely use it at your own risk. Customer care are not supportive.

    Never trust Taptap Send with your sensitive information

    Summary: Never fall for their decent transfer rate against providing your sensitive information. They will store your information and after a while they will simply block you from transferring money to your family and friends for no valid reason.

    Positive: Decent transfer rate with no fees to attract customers. Not a trustworthy platform for your sensitive information.

    Negative: They take your sensitive information for opening your account. After a few successful transactions they suspend your transfer permanently for no valid reason and they call it “security reason”. You call them multiple times to proof your legality you challenge them, but they would neither accept your challenge nor give you any explanation for what particular reason they suspended your account.

    Summary: I will not recommend this app as they take all the sensitive information and then suspend your account even after you prove you are legit customer.

    Positive: Easy to send money.
    decent rate compared to other apps.
    The app is easy to use.
    Money gets to the receiver within 10 minutes.

    Negative: You cannot close or delete the account.
    They suspend accounts without any reason.
    They take all sensitive information your bank information, selfie, ID card but without any reason they will block and suspend your account.
