Mostly prevents error while Manual returns.

Negative: Increased cost if the distribution is increased.
Sometimes error in loading data from previous years.

Positive: No organization is complete without tally. All accounting and procurement is easily handled by tally. Its latest upgrade also support bar-coding. All the vendors, customers, accounting, purchases, etc will be easily linked with each other and descriptive reports will be generate.

Negative: Accounting terms should be known by the users to create the vendor code and transactions.

Summary: Overall its the best accounting software and every single organisation use this due to its easy user interface and Enhancement in recording daily books.

Positive: I have been using this software for my organization for a long Period.
First of all there is no need of mouse in this software which it makes so easy and fast to operate. Also it provide a single platform for all accounting Entries and its also helps in Reconciliation of any ledger and data.

Negative: Every thing is quite comfortable but I just want a proper tutorial during using this software, and in my opinion this is also quite expensive software.

Summary: For my all vendors, Customers, and routine expenses, all records will be done in Tally. It provide me all type of payments, credits, debits and overall expense report for a time frame. I am loving to use it. Its also integrate with some other third party software which ease us to sharing of data.

Positive: All the transactions will be add in a single place with definite tags. Accountant is easily aware about its usage. Its entries are very easy. It provide various type of reports helps in account management.

Negative: Slight Accounting terms should be known for proper entries. So far there is no big trouble with it.

Summary: A very robust tool for small businesses. Maybe its time for Tally to start offering enterprise level options to further accentuate their already impressive suite.

Positive: Super simple to setup and super light to use. Tally is India's preferred ERP tool. Support is fantastic and the tool is robust for SME level usage. Price is extremely competitive and is a driving factor for many businesses.

Negative: Not suitable once org grows. Lacks cloud capabilities unlike Intuit and Zoho.
Many features that we take for granted, such as GL codes, subledger codes, FP&A indicators etc., are yet to be introduced in Tally.
