SpeedFan Description
SpeedFan can monitor temperatures from multiple sources. SpeedFan can adjust fan speeds based upon system temperatures if you properly configure it. Try to set the fan speed parameters by hand and listen for any noise. If you don't hear any noise from the fan, you can set that value to be the fan's minimum speed. Unless you hear the fan making a lot of noise, I recommend that you set the maximum speed at 100. You can set 60 as the maximum value, and sometimes I do that myself. The fan speed is set to 100 by the program when the warning temperature reaches 60. A final word about the fan x box. My computer can change more than one temperature when the fan is running faster. You can choose which fan should be used for each temperature.
