Speed Test Description

Download speed is measured in megabits per sec (Mbps), which indicates how fast your computer can download data from an Internet server. Upload speed is the speed at which your computer can send data to an Internet server. Ping, also known by "latency", measures your Internet connection's response time. It calculates the time it takes to get a response from you after you send a request. Ping is a measure of how responsive your Internet connection has been. It is measured in milliseconds (ms). Based on multiple pings, jitter is a measure of the consistency of your Internet connections. Also measured in milliseconds. The smaller the jitter, a more stable Internet connection. Speed Test is a global network that includes over 5,000 servers. The app will select a server near your current location that has a fast connection. This indicates a reliable Internet connection and good throughput.
