First Impressions Very Good Date: Jun 21 2023
Summary: To the person who gave a 1-star review. I am not sure what went wrong for him. But I do suggest using very small amounts for testing sending and receiving - obvious i know, but you'd be surprised how many don't do that.
Positive: Moving on from Electrum. The Sparrow UI and UX is so much better and cleaner. I've setup my Coldcard with it and all transactions show up.
Negative: None so far. I've only used this for a couple of days but so far, so good.

Only bitcoin wallet I’ll use Date: Aug 24 2022
Summary: It’s the best software wallet on the market. It’s mix to cold storage feature makes it even better than samourai’s own dojo.
Positive: Much prefer using this to the native Trezor software wallet. Also works with cold card and other seed signers. Great ux. Integrated coinjoin.
Negative: Wish it scanned more derivation paths automatically.

Best bitcoin Wallet for Desktop Date: Aug 24 2022
Summary: Awesome. 10/10 would recommend and will go donate a few sats to the devs right now.
Positive: I mean, what's not to like? Sparrow suits you perfectly for almost every use case. Software only Wallet? Check. HW wallet integration? Check. Multi Sig? Check. Whirlpool Mixing for regaining financial privacy? Check.
Active Development and Community? Check.
Even if you are a beginner and use only a fraction of the functionality sparrow offers, sparrow is ready to do, what you will want to do at every stage of your knowledge curve.
In addition to all that, Sparrow is a remarkable learning environment. There are numerous guides (either video or text) available for free, that teach you what you want to know, when you are ready.Negative: UI can look a little retro to some, but the UX of sparrow has no equal to date. I'm certain, that the UI Design will get an update, as time goes on.

Best Wallet. Period. Date: Aug 24 2022
Summary: Overall, this is the best bitcoin wallet I've ever used. I have it synced to my Bitcoin Core node and have used the whirlpool. The ease of coin control is amazing.
Positive: Sparrow is simply the best. It's free, open source, does everything, and the support community on Telegram is amazing.
Negative: There is nothing negative about Sparrow. Self custody (and therefore self sovereignty) requires responsibility.

Best Desktop Wallet available, hands down. Date: Aug 23 2022
Summary: At the time of writing, Sparrow Wallet is easily the best Desktop Bitcoin Wallet around, and by a wide margin. It can do anything from managing a regular Bitcoin hot-wallet, to complicated multisig setups and cold storage solutions with hardware wallets. They even added the brand new SeedQR format to make it compatible with the most state of the art DIY-bitcoin-signing-device. Also (to my knowledge) Sparrow is the only other Wallet with a working integration of Samourai's Whirlpool, so Sparrow actively helps users in preserving their privacy. It's compatible with Bitcoin-Core, Electrum-server and many more, so using it with your own Node is easy (and very much recommended). Oh, did I mention you can import an electrum wallet file directly into Sparrow (yes, even encrypted ones).

Best Bitcoin wallet I've ever used Date: Aug 23 2022
Summary: Fantastic Bitcoin wallet. If someone needs a recommendation for which wallet to use, and isn't limited to a smart phone, this is the wallet you want.
Positive: Easy coin control. Label every transaction and utxo. Multisig is fantastic. Optional whirlpool. The UI is the best I've experienced from any wallet. The notifications / sounds effect when a transaction comes in and then is confirmed are awesome. Works great with basically every hardware wallet. Easily connect to your own node over tor, or to Bitcoin core on the same laptop / desktop. It's free and open source.
Negative: Makes other Bitcoin wallets look bad by comparison.

Excellent Bitcoin best practices wallet Date: Aug 23 2022
Summary: Sparrow Wallet is an excellent bitcoin wallet that works for beginners, intermediates and experts alike. It uses and coaches users into best practices with their bitcoin, and is a versatile tool whether you are using a basic hot wallet, a hardware wallet (even air gapped, microSD or QR), or multi signature for advanced users, or you want to use the privacy & coinjoin features.
One of the leading Bitcoin desktop wallets in my view, as you can easily run your own electrum server backend infrastructure, while at the same time it 'just works' for new users who aren't at that level yet.Positive: - Easy to use for beginners
- hardware wallet support is great
- great multi signature wallet support for higher security
- Helps teach you bitcoin concepts while using it
- coinjoin and privacy featuresNegative: Not much I can think of in terms of cons here, sparrow keeps improving rapidly.

Missing Bitcoin Edited: Nov 19 2022
Summary: I cannot communicate with anyone from Sparrow - there is no communication route that I can find.
System designed to endlessly loop problems to nowhere.
No one takes responsibility nor is anyone reading and comprehending my problem.
Seems like a closed club thumbing their collective nose at those ignorant people like me who aren’t capable of ‘getting it’.
Where is my Bitcoin?Positive: Nothing so far - it is broken, doesn’t work or is a scam product.
I have confirmed the receipt of Bitcoin in the wallet.
The next step is to send from the wallet - nothing on Sparrow works to send - it is a dead end!Negative: I transferred Bitcoin from the exchange to Sparrow in preparation for an air gap transfer to a hard wallet.
