SmartCam3D View Description
SmartCam3D®, situational awareness software, provides geospatial overlays on live video at 30+ frames/second. This technology was originally used as the primary flight display on the NASA X38 during initial unmanned test. It is currently being deployed with US Army Tactical Unmanned Systems as a module within Universal Ground Control Stations that are used in conjunction with the Hunter Shadow, Gray Eagle UAV Platforms. This technology also integrates EO/IR Gimbals and sUAS Pilot Applications. It also includes a plugin for Android Tactical Assault Kits (ATAK) and a comprehensive Mission Management Application to the manned ISR market. SmartCam3D®, which provides enhanced situational awareness to a range of stakeholders and end users throughout the ISR ecosystem, from the front-line to Operations Center, offers enhanced situational awareness.

This tool is for companies that build large, complex prototypes. The goal is to reduce the number of variations. smartAR™, which augments a digital twin with a live camera feed from a real-world object, maintains scale, position and placement of the CAD model relative the object. An external motion tracking system monitors the tablet's orientation and position to determine if it is in the right place. The tablet's location can be tracked to enable overlaying digital twins on real objects with high precision. Virtual images on the tablet are able to be tracked as the user moves around the object. Virtual data can be'snapped onto position' on real objects with an accuracy of better than 3 millimeters in most stationary view.
