Summary: I have been very pleased. When I call and say this is Steve Collins they know who I am even though they have numerous customers. I just couldn't imagine a better experience.
Positive: Always helpful and great response time. Any time I would call (yes they still use a phone even though they have a chat box) or send an email they provide actual assistance before most places have you enter you code # for the 10th time. The system combines resources from text messages to clients to legal pleadings. Everything is in one place.
Negative: If I have to list one it would be setting the system up but I don't think you could have as good a system without setting it up the way you want it. It just takes some time but is well worth it.

Superb Case Management Solution! Date: May 13 2021
Summary: The system has and will move mountains for our ever growing firm. Like many other companies using SmartAdvocate, we are a legal firm and rely heavily on software to streamline our efforts.
Positive: One stop shop. This is an intuitive system that helps drive our success. We just started building out this case management system recently, but we can tell the system creators really took time to elevate the possibilities and functionality of the platform.
Negative: None at this time. The system is hefty and will take time to convert from a former case management system, but this is a known speedbump for a firm of our size.

Love the Additional Training Date: May 11 2021
Summary: Overall the experience is great, and I look forward to more additional trainings to get more out of the program as a whole.
Positive: The additional training available. I want to learn as much as possible about SmartAdvocate, and these extra trainings are really beneficial to gain additional knowledge!
Negative: We at times do not cover all the training agenda. Claude is a great trainer, but we often times are detailed with different aspects of training that we do not get to cover everything in the allotted time.

Positive: I like how the step by step process throughout setting up this program and how the instructors are readily available.
Negative: We are very early in the process so there are no dislikes at this time.

Summary: I love working with SA, it is very convenient and easy to use. The organization of it makes it very easy to find documents, etc.
Positive: I like how organized and convenient it is. Everything can be maintained in an easily accessible place that has been invaluable since working remotely.
Negative: Some of the tabs ask for too much information at times.

Summary: The support you receive from SA is great - they help you be successful. We recently had a one hour presentation on how to build letter templates, and it was very helpful.
Positive: SA make is easy to organize your case file and draft documents. You can keep track of documents, conversations, emails, and calendars all from one platform.
Negative: I have no cons for this product. It has been working great for our firm.

Summary: I love using SmartAdvocate. Once the information is entered into the case, merging documents is easy and so much less time consuming! From merging documents, to accessing contacts, to having access to what anyone else has done in the case, it's great and makes my job as a paralegal much easier!
Positive: Keeps your cases organized with many great tools to make it easy to do! Anyone working on the case has full access to everything.
Negative: Creating templates is a bit time consuming, but worth it once it's done.

Summary: Great product. Fits our needs well. Great features that we did not have with our previous case management software. I like that it is web based.
Positive: I love how customizable the software is. I also love how easy it is to go paperless. I love how we can attach applicable documents right along with the disbursement charge. I also love the barcoding feature.
Negative: the program runs a little slow sometimes. Otherwise it's a great program!

Summary: Overall, SmartAdvocate, while not perfect, does allow more productivity and streamed workflow. It would be nice if it catered more to non-New York firms (focusing a bit more on the trial section, but SmartAdvocate is very user friendly and easy to use.
Positive: The automated procedures, the workplans, and the templates. They features allow time to work on case content instead of data entry.
Negative: The lack of the same fields in merge codes across systems such as Word and Excel for effective templates. Also, the inability to distinguish car insurance from health insurance.

Summary: Overall, Smart Advocate has really helped my business to go and automate various aspects. From billing to document management, all the way through to the reports and dashboards, I cannot speak highly enough of it.
Positive: I am a big fan of how easy it is to get used to the system, as often with these things it takes month before you are comfortable using is day to day. I am really like the UX and UI of it, as it flows very well and this aspect is very important to me.
Negative: The support leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion, as it can be quite difficult to speak to someone if I have a simple question. Saying that, their online documentation is very clear and helpful.

Summary: SmartAdvocate helps me manage multiple cases without confusion. it reduces errors saves time with reminders and makes communication with client easier through built in email and texting , this has improved team collaboration and given me more time to focus on actual case work instead of chasing documents or deadlines
Positive: I like best about SmartAdvocate is that it keeps all my case information in one place. i don't need to switch between different tools for documents, emails or deadlines. the reminders and calendar help me stay on track and the templates make creating documents much faster.
Negative: The main issue i face is that it take time to learn because there are so many features sometimes the system feels slow when opening files and not all documents formats preview properly. the interface could also be more simple as some tasks need too many steps.

The automation has made a big difference in reducing repetitive tasks. Things like sending client updates, generating standard forms, and tracking deadlines no longer eat up hours of staff time. That translates directly into more efficiency and fewer mistakes. Having all case data in one platform also makes it easier to stay compliant with deadlines and reporting requirements.Positive: SmartAdvocate really shines in organizing case information. The way it centralizes client data, documents, deadlines, and communications makes it easy to keep everyone on the same page. The automated workflows save a ton of time. For example, when a new case is opened, the system automatically generates the right forms, assigns tasks, and sets reminders. That has cut down on manual follow-ups and reduced errors.
The reporting tools are another strong point. I like being able to pull detailed reports on case status, staff productivity, and settlement trends without needing IT help. The system is highly customizable too. The interface could also be more modern. It gets the job done, but compared to some newer legal software it looks dated and can feel cluttered. I have also noticed that customer support, while knowledgeable, can be slow to respond during busy times.
Another drawback is that the mobile app is limited. It works for checking basic case details or contacts, but you cannot do the same level of work you would on the desktop version. -

Summary: Overall, its a strong program that can do nearly anything you need or imagine. Any company would be improved by using this software if they know how they want to use it.
Positive: You can do nearly anything you can imagine in case management.
The Calendar and notifications and system integration with Microsoft are critical for our usage.
I enjoy being able to communicate.Negative: The login process could be better. The processes are too complicated, for some simple tasks.

Summary: As we are working more with SmartAdvocate, the many great features it has will help us to improve our efficiency, time it takes to do documents, pull reports, etc.
Positive: We have been using SmartAdvocate for approximately 4 months and are learning new features daily. The Dashboards are great for keeping up with the cases. I also like the fact that you can open 1 case multiple times and use the filter to look at just the documents you need to work with.
Negative: SmartAdvocate is a web based program and sometimes it can slow you down, which could mean there needs to be an internet upgrade.
