    Great Customer Service, but Needs More Functionality and Ability to Customize

    Summary: I'll admit that my experience in the kids activities game is limited, so maybe I have unreasonable expectations. Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to use all of Sawyer's features.

    Positive: Sawyer's customer service has been amazing. They follow up on requests quickly, and with personalized attention.

    Negative: However, I've had problems with being able to customize Sawyer for my business. For example, I'd like to change the headings of Drop Ins, Semester, Appointments so they are more clear to my customers, but haven't been able to do this. I also requested a new activity category (subject of activity like academic, art, music, etc.) My business teaches life skills, but that isn't on the list. I was told this couldn't be changed. I also couldn't change the color scheme of the Sawyer listings to fit my brand (for example, the color of the registration buttons).

    Summary: I do appreciate Hi Sawyer being so dedicated to helping us use their product, though I wish more of the day to day applications were easier to use.

    Positive: Customizable embedding for our website, tracking of financials and demographic options, ability to batch email specific rosters

    Amazing response time and helpful support staff, wonderful customer service

    Negative: difficulty in refunds for individuals, and for full classes (canceling one session means hand refunding all of the participants from their "general payment", without an option to "refund for this class")

    Sawyer turned my business around

    Summary: Overall I am very pleased with Sawyer. When my website went down I was super glad I had my Sawyer link so that I could at least direct customers to my registration page that lists all of our offerings.

    Positive: The registration platform has allowed me to organize my offerings and present them to the public automatically through the Sawyer Marketplace. My customers can register through the Sawyer platform effortlessly and I do not have to worry about registration glitches or errors. I immediately receive an email when a customer registers for a class or program. The Financials are also well organized and deposited into my bank account in a timely manner, I would however like it to be sooner as in immediate or the next day. I like how I can see my total sales number big and bold on the Financials page. I also like how I can easily message all the students in a particular class and also be able to look up any clients' information easily because of the data bank that is stored when customers register. There are many other features I like but in general Sawyer has made running my business a lot easier.

    Negative: Some of the features are a little too difficult to figure out and remember. One issue I have is that a sibling discount cannot be applied if the customer chooses to pay monthly.

    Summary: Overall we have enjoyed our experience with Sawyer and have found customer support to be helpful and the updates we've encountered over the past 2-3 years have enhanced user experience.

    Positive: -ease of set up for workshops, classes, and camps
    -payouts consistent and reliable, really like that we don't have to set up an account with a 3rd party vendor, like JustWorks or WePay, to receive payment.
    -recent updates to features and interface have been helpful in

    Negative: -we would LOVE to have an option for an end registration date!!! We offer so many workshops and camps it's hard for us to go in and cut off the registrations manually. The only option being to keep the registration open until the end of the class is unusable and irrelevant. Please, please, please update with an option to put an automatic cutoff date for registering as part of the set up process for a class or camp!!! We also use Activity Hero and are able to specify a precise registration start and end date/time with them. It seems like such and easy fix that would alleviate a lot of frustration.

    -Add ons: please fix the add-on feature so that it doesn't AUTOMATICALLY apply to every single person selected. If that could be a manual selection that would help us with how we structure our workshop participants and materials.

    Summary: I consider myself a good educator, and that is why my business of Art and Music classes is growing! I do not consider myself “tech-savvy” and do not have a team of IT staff…it’s just me. Sawyer has allowed me to have a professional online presence. Sawyer has also acted as my IT team, even when my questions and needs were immediate and desperate! I will be loyal to Sawyer.

    Positive: I started using Sawyer about five years ago. The program allows you to work into the features slowly: I used the most basic features, and now I can set up camps, events, semesters, widgets, financial reports, contact lists, etc.
    I learned how to do these things by simply asking through the help center. Then a real person emails me and walks me through my specific question.

    Negative: There have been very few limitations, and most of the problems have been my not taking the time to learn the system. I find that Sawyer sets up systems a certain way, and once I get used to it, it provides a consistent way for me to work and for my customers to access info and register.

    Sawyer is a great place to sell your classes

    Summary: I love the ease of working with Sawyer as both a person who sells classes, and as a parent who has bought classes for my child. There are a few features that aren't as intuitive as they could be, Overall, I am happy with the service.

    Positive: I love the ease of the links, and how easy it is for parents to buy classes. I love being able to upload our information and graphics with minimum work, and I love that we can give refunds. I also like how quickly we get paid :).

    Negative: Some features on our admin section (not the customer-facing side) are hard to find, like our rosters, and sometimes I find it hard to see where our information is. It's not as intuitive as it could be.

    Summary: Sawyer is the mainstay of my business operations. It is professional and reliable and very easy to use!

    Positive: Sawyer provides an interactive platform for my business clients that is safe, easy to use, and continuously improving.     Summary: Sawyer has been vital to helping me keep up with each of my classes per day, and since they change each day (optional trial classes as well as different time options for students) I always start out my days by checking Sawyer Tools!

    Sawyer- The Most Comprehensive Software of It's Kind on the Market

    Summary: I would say the positive outweighs the negative on this software. It's the most unique software for this particular niche. I can see, with further improvements, it being one of the top resources for clients seeking unique experiences and for individuals starting their own business using skills they have to teach to others.

    Positive: Sawyer is a very unique platform for users and clients alike. It opens so many doors for the DIY-ers to be able to teach their skills to others and teachers with wide ranges of expertise in various areas to be able to teach outside of a typical public school classroom. The back office has been something to learn but I'll have to say that the support has been very good at responding to questions and trying to resolve issues. I would definitly recommend it!

    Negative: I have had issues with various things over the two year period I've worked with Sawyer from setting coupons to transfering students from class to class. Some things were able to be resolved and some weren't due to the software design. Recently I've been working with clients doing monthly memberships for multiple choices of classes within one program. It would simply things if when they purchase the membership, that the classes could be viewed and they can choose without having to click "keep shopping." Also recently, I've had issues with being able to download and view the Order Report which I use often.

    Summary: Very happy with the product and customer service. Registration systems can be very complicated and particularly difficult to use in mobile format, Sawyer however is great!

    Positive: Ideal registration system for a youth sports organization. The portal is incredibly user friendly on both PC and mobile. Refunding and editing registrations is very simple to do which is important for our organization.

    Negative: Would like to be able to send messages to multiple classes/groups simultaneously rather than only be able to message one group at a time. Would also love to have a ‘text communication’ option.
