Summary: Sawyer has made it so easy to keep up with customer information, registration, and helped us keep tabs on our financial goals. We are very pleased and can't imagine running our studio without it!
Positive: It has really streamlined our class registration! They make it so easy to post new classes to our schedule and keep up with registration, attendance, and customer info. It really has made a positive change in the way we run our business!
Negative: I really don't have any complaints. So far, Sawyer ha exceeded our expectations!

Summary: Sawyer has been an amazing business tool! Highly recommend to any small business looking for a budget-friendly event registration system. I can access Sawyer on my laptop and phone if I’m on the go. The best feature on Sawyer is being able to mass email and/or text clients signed up for an event or camp. This is great for camp reminders/changes to an event/weather cancellation. With the click of a button, I can type my message and hit send. No more copy and pasting email addresses or having to text/call people from my phone.
Positive: I have saved so many HOURS on the computer since using Sawyer. I love that Sawyer collects all the client information and stores it (Ex. online camp forms—-emergency contact, allergies, etc.), sends confirmation emails to the clients and administrators as well.
The program is very easy to navigate and create events/camps. Transferring students to a different event date or issuing refunds is effortless. Everything is in one place and organized…no need for hard copies/paper documents anymore!
The registration system is easy for clients to use as well. After events, Sawyer will automatically send “rate your experience” type emails and also reminder emails about upcoming events. Not too many though that it’s annoying.Negative: I would like to see more flexibility with running reports (Ex. Running a financial report for one specific event(s).)

Summary: I stumbled upon Sawyer late on night, stressed and frustrated, trying to get registration online, for my new summer day camps for kids. After fussing with the options provided by my website builder program, Sawyer was balm to my weary mind and soul. I started a free trial and had the entire menu of options created and ready to publish in 90 minutes. All that remained was a phone call with a very friendly Sawyer representative and a few signatures. My Sawyer page was linked to my website that next day and the stress abated. Thank you for creating a system for child-focused businesses like mine!
Positive: Intuitive to use with easy programming. Option to personalize with various photos and text. Easy to use for both vendor and patron.
Negative: The monthly fee is too high for me to justify using, now that my enrichment center is set up with a tuition management company. It would also be nice to have ACH as an option. Passing on credit card fees to the purchaser would be appreciated.

Summary: Overall, I've been with Sawyer since 2018, the help I get to run my program is amazing, I use it daily!
Positive: I am able to run reports really quickly, get a list of kids for a specific activities, ask specific questions in their form fields system, lots of great tools for my afterschool program. My rep is always there when I need him. Hey Dyland!
Negative: Discounts aren't automatic when it multiple service class, that takes a long time to refund families individually.

-easy for families to sign upNegative: Sawyer is best for semester pricing. It is clunky to set it up have families pay for classes on a monthly schedule when each month has a varying amount of classes due to holidays, vacations, etc.

Summary: I would send anyone and everyone to Sawyer Tools! I've already referred my friend's art teaching business and she's been using them for a year now. Families report the software being easy to use and my team appreciates all of the options the back-end offers for us to run our business seamlessly.
If you're running a business where families and kids are your customer community, Sawyer Tools will save you time, energy and stress so you can focus on the fun stuff!Positive: The design of the software is beautiful, intuitive, and easy to use. Links are automatically generated for the classes, lessons, and workshops we create so it's easy to share with families for quick enrollment! And clients include family profiles so the learner's names, ages, and other notes are all included.
The various options for scheduling, specifically the "Semesters" format, are a game-changer for offering classes and workshops.
The setup for in-person vs. online is brilliant and easy to use and you can customize the policies for cancellations, covid, etc.Negative: It's currently not an available feature to book recurring individual lessons through the system, but a good workaround is creating individual semesters for 1:1 sessions.

Summary: Overall excellent experience using this. They were even kind enough to put our billing on hold during Covid.
Positive: I’ve gained hours back using this product! The team behind it are always available to help, the backend UI is a cinch, the front end interface is easy for our clients. It tracks everything, adds emails to Mailchimp for me automatically, and does a hundred other things I haven’t even gotten to yet. Bookings made simple!
Negative: Not much at all! There were a few small hiccups along the way that were easily hammered out with tech support.

Summary: Sawyer is indispensable to my business at this point. I don't know how I got along without it in the past!
Positive: I love how easy it is to use and how much time it has saved me. I used to collect registrations, put them on a spreadsheet, send a separate invoice, and then record payments manually. It took hours that I could have been using to grow my business. Sawyer has streamlined everything!
Negative: I wish there were a way to edit customer profiles, like when they notify me that their email or phone number has changed. I also wish there were a way to send a mass email to every contact, and to see which contacts on the list are new so I can add them to my mailing list without having to sort through hundreds of email addresses.

Summary: Great product and team support. Cost effective, handy and efficient tool. Issues were addressed quickly. Over past 3 years tool has improved a lot.
Positive: Team support, features. Ease of use and also price. Whenever we had issues they were resolved very quickly. Also integration with our website was easy.
Negative: Would like to find an easy way to get reports who is paying every month. And also would like to use this tool for better attendance check. I am still unsure how to use.

Summary: Overall I am very pleased with Sawyer. When my website went down I was super glad I had my Sawyer link so that I could at least direct customers to my registration page that lists all of our offerings.
Positive: The registration platform has allowed me to organize my offerings and present them to the public automatically through the Sawyer Marketplace. My customers can register through the Sawyer platform effortlessly and I do not have to worry about registration glitches or errors. I immediately receive an email when a customer registers for a class or program. The Financials are also well organized and deposited into my bank account in a timely manner, I would however like it to be sooner as in immediate or the next day. I like how I can see my total sales number big and bold on the Financials page. I also like how I can easily message all the students in a particular class and also be able to look up any clients' information easily because of the data bank that is stored when customers register. There are many other features I like but in general Sawyer has made running my business a lot easier.
Negative: Some of the features are a little too difficult to figure out and remember. One issue I have is that a sibling discount cannot be applied if the customer chooses to pay monthly.

Positive: This is a great tool to use to keep track of our class rosters and one-time events. We rely on it! Customer service is also fantastic.

Summary: The product is reliable & the team is very responsive, the change of features is hard. Overall great! I just wish they informed us when changes would go into effect and allow us to go back to prior versions if needed to adjust.
Positive: This product does everything we need it to and is reliable, which is key. No other product offers the features we need so it's become essential, and the support team is responsive, caring, and helpful. Excellent personalized customer service!
Negative: Product changes make you reinvent the wheel often.

Summary: Overall we have enjoyed our experience with Sawyer and have found customer support to be helpful and the updates we've encountered over the past 2-3 years have enhanced user experience.
Positive: -ease of set up for workshops, classes, and camps
-payouts consistent and reliable, really like that we don't have to set up an account with a 3rd party vendor, like JustWorks or WePay, to receive payment.
-recent updates to features and interface have been helpful inNegative: -we would LOVE to have an option for an end registration date!!! We offer so many workshops and camps it's hard for us to go in and cut off the registrations manually. The only option being to keep the registration open until the end of the class is unusable and irrelevant. Please, please, please update with an option to put an automatic cutoff date for registering as part of the set up process for a class or camp!!! We also use Activity Hero and are able to specify a precise registration start and end date/time with them. It seems like such and easy fix that would alleviate a lot of frustration.

Great Customer Service, but Needs More Functionality and Ability to Customize Date: Sep 23 2022
Summary: I'll admit that my experience in the kids activities game is limited, so maybe I have unreasonable expectations. Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to use all of Sawyer's features.
Positive: Sawyer's customer service has been amazing. They follow up on requests quickly, and with personalized attention.
Negative: However, I've had problems with being able to customize Sawyer for my business. For example, I'd like to change the headings of Drop Ins, Semester, Appointments so they are more clear to my customers, but haven't been able to do this. I also requested a new activity category (subject of activity like academic, art, music, etc.) My business teaches life skills, but that isn't on the list. I was told this couldn't be changed. I also couldn't change the color scheme of the Sawyer listings to fit my brand (for example, the color of the registration buttons).
