Rosetta Stone Description
Employees can speak up when they are conversant in business languages. It takes practice to learn new business languages. Rosetta Stone helps employees get talking and improve their pronunciation. They'll be able to speak for you and your company in no time. Employees learn best when they can understand and speak the language of their new language. Dynamic Immersion®, which builds language confidence from the first lesson, does exactly that. Learners can be afraid of making mistakes and become timid about learning a new language. Our TruAccent™, speech engine allows employees to dial in their pronunciation so that they can be confident when it comes time to talk business. It's a huge leap from lessons to being able to talk with customers and co-workers. Conversation practice with native speakers is a great way to help learners learn their language.

Expensive Flashcards Date: Nov 23 2020
Summary: Rosetta Stone was a big deal way back in the day, but it's nothing special these days. With the likes of Duolingo and many other language learning apps right on your phone, there's so much better competition out there. But it does deserve props for being one of the earliest ones out there that was widely available.
Positive: The best part of Rosetta Stone is that you can hear the words being spoken. For a system that's primarily a fancy digital flashcard system, this is really useful and Rosetta Stone was doing this long before many of the others currently in the field.
Negative: At the end of the day though, Rosetta Stone is basically just really expensive flashcards though. You can find free or low cost resources with the exact same stuff elsewhere with even more features.
