Duolingo review Edited: Apr 16 2023
Summary: Overall, everything is brilliant and could be entertaining enough as well! My sister and i have been using it for a while and i can definitely say it's awesome. First of all, it's as simply (has a nice interface and an appealing, especially for kids, design),as well as curiously to use(variety of different interesting lessons). Recommend it to everyone who's looking for a splendid tool for your languages skills improving!
Positive: Simple to use, cute design, variety of different interesting lessons, can be curious for kids in account of its kind of game-alike studying system.
Negative: Might be slightly annoying with constant, frequent reminders, although it also may serve as a good way to keep you consistent with learning.

Summary: I absolutely love Duolingo and how easy it makes learning another language. It is fun for all ages and makes it so you actually want to learn a language. It truly feels more like a game than a task to be done.
Positive: I rated this all five stars not to be lazy, but because it is actually that good. Duolingo makes learning fun through different interactions; writing, talking, drawing, etc. I also love how you can do Duolingo on your phone, that way you truly can practice each and every day. No matter how busy a person is, they can find 10-30 minutes a day to spend time on their phone.
Negative: If you do the free version there are definitely limitations, so if you are very serious about learning the language I would pay for the product in full.

Positive: I love the creative ways that Duolingo teaches me any new language of choice! They have expanded so much with the resources and lessons they have to offer.
Negative: That you can run out of hearts with the free version of the app, but that helps me to focus more and not want to get any wrong.

Summary: Duolingo is a great application, depending on what language you're trying to learn. I'd recommend it most for the romance languages, but it's not so great for the languages outside of that group, especially languages like Korean and Japanese. So, it really just depends on what you want to learn how useful it it. Their best route is definitely Spanish.
Positive: For some languages, like Spanish, Duolingo is a great application to use. Other languages have gotten better over time and I'd expect the others will gradually get close to how good the Spanish version is.
Negative: As I said, some languages are pretty lacking. Japanese isn't anywhere near as good as Spanish or Italian, and there are far better apps for Asian languages.
