Simplicity and growth to ADR Date: Aug 05 2022
Summary: Very happy with the onboarding and adoption journey. Can see the direct impact on our revenue, team performance and overall hotel operations. Very satisfied.
Positive: Easy drag and drop dashboard. Online check-in with Upsell and Yield management tools. Easy to manage and automated ADR growth.
Negative: Weekend support hours not available, not the worst, but emergencies do come up.

Good PMS but... Date: Oct 27 2023
Summary: As I have been working with RoomRaccoon for about 1,5 years I did encounter to much difficulties. Mainly due to overbookings, bugs and bad communication. The PMS is great, easy to use and smart and even though that we generally have good relationships with our partners we don't feel a positive connection with RoomRaccoon.
Positive: PMS part is very functional and smart. A lot of small features which makes you love working with it. Teaching the PMS to anybody goes fast. It's a good pms for small hotels.
Negative: Managing group reservations is a challenge, as a single reservation can hold multiple rooms however only has 1 check-in and check-out date. Their solution is connecting multiple reservations; however, this approach is complicated and lacks effective organization.

The channel manager lacks the capability to 'close' rooms.
RaccoonPay charges high commissions and does not offer direct integration with payment providers. Especially for VCC.
While customer support is generally amicable, it falls short when confronted with more complex issues. Moreover, we have experienced several connectivity issues, mainly caused by incorrect mapping—a responsibility not attributed to the hotelier side.

Summary: This is not a fit for purpose PMS. Do yourself a favour and just find another more reliable PMS that will give you less headaches.
Positive: Design is appealing but expensive.
Their sales pitch is incredible and then you just faced with a PMS that doesn't work.Negative: A product that can't do basics.

They will not take ownership for the faults of the system.
Rates updates, you are limited to rate changes per hour/daily, meaning you can never know when they will block you to do rate/restrictions/availability changes.
Reports, there isn't one report that gives you correct data
Support, they don't understand the product, and they will always make like you don't understand the PMS, never their fault. The support team always says they are working on fixing an issue and will never get back to you.
