Robocopy Alternatives
Unstoppable Copier
Allows you to recover files from disks that have suffered physical damage. Allows you to copy files from hard drives with problems like bad sectors, scratches, or that simply give errors when reading data. The program will attempt recover all readable parts of a file and then put them together. This method can be used to recover most file types, even if they are not recoverable at the end. You can use the program's batch mode functions to create a daily backup. To perform the same batch of transfers every day, a list of transfers can easily be saved to a file. The program supports command-line parameters, which allow it to be run from scripts or schedulers. This allows it to be fully integrated into daily server tasks.

Rclone
Rclone allows you to access files on cloud storage from a command-line interface. It's a more feature-rich alternative for cloud vendor's web storage interfaces. More than 40 cloud storage products support Rclone, including S3 object storage, business and consumer file storage services, and standard transfer protocols. Rclone offers powerful cloud equivalents of the Unix commands rsync. cp. mv. mount. ls. ncdu. tree. rm. and cat. Rclone's familiar syntax supports shell pipeline support and provides --dry-run protection. It can be used in scripts, on the command line, and via its API. Rclone is a data manager that takes care of your data. It keeps timestamps and verifies checkssums at all time. Transfers with limited bandwidth or intermittent connections can be restarted from the last file transferred. You can verify the integrity of your files. rclone uses server-side transfers whenever possible to minimize local bandwidth usage and transfer from one provider to the next without using the local disk.

Supports Break Point that allows you to pause when you encounter any problems, such as file locking. Once the problem is fixed, click on "Continue".

yCopy2
yCopy2 can be used as a backup/sync tool. It has multi-threading capabilities and a rich set command-line variables. Warning: The SYNC option will delete files and folders from the destination path recursively if they aren't on the source. Be cautious and start with less important files first. I have been using yCopy2 for backups for several years. However, that does not mean that the program will work for you. You are responsible for the consequences of using this software. yCopy can't back up files that have more than 256 characters due to a limitation in Microsoft.Net. E.g. C:Tempetcetcmore things(to a depth 256 characters)Some really long name.doc. This network mode allows yCopy2 to communicate in a client/server fashion, speeding up lan back-ups. Built-in scheduling allows for backups to be run at a specified time. Compatible with Windows 7 SP1 or newer.
