RapidProM Description
Information Systems (ISs), today, record enormous amounts of data about business processes. These data can be used to perform process mining. This allows us to analyze the operational processes of an organization using facts and not fiction. These processes include the processing of a loan application in a bank or the care of a patient in a hospital. Process mining is receiving increasing attention in both industry and practice. As such, there are more process mining tools. None of these tools allows for the creation and execution of analysis workflows that combine multiple process mining algorithms. The analyst must perform repetitive process mining tasks manually. Moreover, scientic process experiments can be very labor-intensive. RapidMiner allows the creation and execution of analysis workflows. This is why we have integrated ProM 6 with RapidMiner.
