Complete support for IMAP and SMTP protocols, including SSL and STARTTLS. Sieve scripts (Filters, vacation message). Requirements for resources are minimal. Direct access to the mail server is possible. Mails are not stored locally on the web server. Multiple accounts can be added to the primary account. You can also access different accounts from different browser tabs simultaneously. Additional identities. Administrator panel to configure main options. Very simple installation and updating. Integration with Facebook, Google and Twitter. Manage folders. Easy customization. Multi-level caching system. Plugins can be added to the admin panel to extend functionality.     Looking to self-host an email interface - Rainloop it is!

    Summary: Rainloop is a great web-email interface. It is very easy to use, runs reliably and has all the capabilities that one would need. It has integration with Nextcloud (better than the build-in). The 'evolution' is slow. My daily driver for email communication (6 different accounts). Watch out for one thing - there is no unified view.

    Positive: - Easy to install on your self-host server.
    - Runs reliably.
    - Modern interface, easy to use.
    - Plugins available.

    Negative: - No unified view of different email accounts.
    - Versioning and upgrading could improve.
    - Slow upgrades.
    - Plugin market should be better supported and expanded.
