It is based on the ASCE 7 standard for design loads in the United States, which is published annually by the American Society of Civil Engineers. MecaWind's wind load calculator software includes multiple versions of the ASCE 7 standard and the Florida Building Code (FBC). It includes ASCE 7-05 and ASCE 7-10 versions, as well as ASCE 7-16 versions of the same standard. This article contains many of the changes from ASCE 7-10 to ASCE 7-16.
