Great for making study guides as a teacher or student

    Date: Nov 09 2020

Summary: I've had great use of this both as a student and on the other side, and highly recommend students and teachers give it a try for their class. It's easy to make a fully customizable study guide on this. The paid version is inexpensive and definitely worth paying for. It could use some updating in terms of appearance and smoothing out some minor bugs here and there, and I wish they'd allow more formatting for questions, but overall, it's a pretty solid digital flashcard maker and I highly recommend giving it a try. I think it would work best for classes for lots of vocabulary and basic facts, such as intro classes. While it can still be useful for some things, this isn't really the product for you if you're studying some advanced math or science.

Positive: Depending on the needs of your class, you can do a lot with just the free version and the paid version isn't very expensive either. With the paid version, you'll open up a lot more features, like images and sound. This is especially great for language/vocabulary studying. You can set up a bunch of quizlets for different units of your class and direct your students to them to use both in class and for them to study with at home. Aside from creating digital flashcards, there's several ways to review too. You can have the students compete for the highest scores in these review games for a prize or bonus points as a way to encourage them to study outside of class.

Negative: It can be a little glitch and times with how it works and I wish it offered more formatting issues to make creating multiple choice questions easier. Other than this, there aren't really any other downsides I can think of beyond general app aesthetics updating being heavily needed. The app and website both look very dated. It's not that great for certain types of classes, like higher maths.
