    Summary: Operating all aspects of a small business has been challenging, but I'm thankful to have quicken here to help balance my cash flow easily so I can focus on the bigger things. It's a godsend to take something off my plate.

    Positive: Quicken helps manage my cash inflow and outflow and makes taxes and money management very easy with the click of a mouse. Simplifying our money management means we run into less budgetary problems.

    Summary: Wonderful!I have used Quicken for about 15 years now (I think).... they were my first 'record keeping' $ accounting software.

    Positive: User friendly from day one The developers are Always looking to improve the product. I like that they went out with courage and are a stand alone product now.

    Negative: Went from one time buying the software to the industry-wide norm of a monthly/annual fee instead... I guess it allows them to continually improved and sporadically share improvements instead of waiting for new releases..

    Eliminated ability to own a copy of the software and now raising prices higher

    Summary: While the functionality is good, quicken has structured it to maximize their profit(s). Quicken intentionally degraded functionality for those that owned copies of the software to effectively make it useless.

    Positive: Ability to manage personal finances is good. Downloads and data entry is simple. Provides a good overview of your financial position(s).

    Negative: Reporting is difficult, prices would be expected to continue to rise, and data is not completely maintained on my personal equipment possibly exposing it to security issues.
