Summary: Single stop reliable people data solution. Easy to use platform. Multiple data access channels available - raw data, APIs. Transparent pricing directly linked with the usage.

Positive: Large number of people records spread across the globe/industries available with comprehensive set of fields. Ease to build customized APIs which are easy to integrate. Usage based pricing.

Negative: Price of the data is on the higher side. Some of the data fields are empty.

Summary: Overall, would highly recommend People Data Labs to anyone trying to look for a combined "people data" repository.

Positive: Love working with People Data Labs data. We use it primarily to get email addresses and contact information, but it also comes with a lot of other helpful data (predicted gender, past work history, social media profile handles, etc.). In addition, it's very easy to use from the development standpoint -- API documentation is great and they are very communicative about changes to the API. Finally, for the price, we haven't seen another contact information vendor that comes close to the quality; very happy overall!

Negative: Only wish was that it was easier to add more API requests to your plan easily rather than talking to the sales team every time; but I get that this is part of the pricing and packaging.

Summary: As the founder of my own company specializing in multimedia and creative solutions, I have found PDL to be an invaluable tool for enhancing client profile insights and optimizing marketing strategies.By leveraging PDL’s data, we identified key demographic trends within our client base, enabling the creation of targeted advertising campaigns that achieved a nice increase in customer engagement. The comprehensiveness of the data has allowed us to refine our service offerings, resulting in improved client satisfaction. However, the onboarding process required considerable time and effort to integrate the platform effectively into our existing systems. Additionally, pricing considerations demanded careful planning to ensure alignment with our budgetary constraints. Despite these challenges, the value provided by PDL has established it as a critical component of our operational toolkit.

Positive: People Data Labs (PDL) curates an extensive repository of over 1.5 billion professional profiles, encompassing diverse details such as resumes, contact information, social media links, and demographic data. This immense dataset is instrumental for organizations seeking to enhance client engagement, streamline lead generation processes, and inform strategic decision-making. The platform’s APIs are well-structured and meticulously documented, facilitating precise searches and seamless integration with pre-existing workflows. Furthermore, PDL prioritizes robust security measures, adhering to internationally recognized standards such as SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, ensuring data integrity and protection.

Negative: Despite the platform's robust data offerings, some users have reported inconsistencies, including outdated or incomplete information, largely attributed to its dependence on sources such as LinkedIn. This reliance can occasionally compromise data reliability. The pricing structure, while competitive for larger enterprises, may pose challenges for smaller businesses or startups with limited budgets. Additionally, the initial setup and configuration process can be time-intensive, necessitating a steep learning curve to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities.

Summary: Pretty good. Gets the job done but there are definitely ways to improve data triangulation. Certain fields are more useful than others.

Positive: Generally good but some geographic coverage gaps. Doesn’t charge for 404 results. Many fields included.

Negative: Breaking if some fields are null. Formatting could better. Confidence score is opaque.

Summary: Overall a good product to figure out people/employee-related metrics or insights, even though there's some flaw.

Positive: A lot of interesting people/employee related datapoint, clear documentation and regular updates. Interesting insights such as growth.

Negative: Pricing is a bit expensive for aggregated/bulk retrieval. Search part of the API could be better, esp. in dealing with complex searches.

Summary: Overall positive feedback for the product. It gives good coverage. But if you’re just seeking profile data there are other alternatives.

Their people search is much more powerful than most other products out there but the data can be stale sometimes.

Positive: The apis are quite stable and coverage of data is good. I haven’t observed any major issues with the product or apis. Contact data is quite good.

Negative: It is a bit on the expensive side and the profile data that we get can be stale and might need an update. Eg. Jobs could be old.

Summary: Overall the product is simple to use and provide good meta data about any person.
Price is still a bit of concern for me and honestly the pricing is still not business friendly for small businesses to integrate this.

Positive: You can easily consume their people search API in your choice of programming language which returns json format results of people's meta data which can be used. The api has the capability to access various parameters like geography etc which makes the search easier and return only use case relevant information.

Negative: I was trying to use the API for the purpose of creating a job board where I can send invite to these people about the various hiring processes so I observed that there is no way for me to know from the return API results whether a given candidate is open to work or not. The data points should have a flag value which indicates whether the user returned is open to work or not. This will help recruiters to send relevant invite to applicable persons from the returned list of people.

Summary: Their team was awesome to work with and truly worked as a partner to understand our need. They continued to engage with us on our timeline and didn't overly push along the way.

Positive: It was super easy to get started with their sample datasets, and when it came time to integrate, everything went without a hitch.

Negative: If I had to nitpick, the price is a bit high for their data.

Summary: PDL is just okay to use as a secondary platform to gather data on contacts that you need, but will not fulfill needs for the recruitment space.

Positive: As a recruiting firm, we constantly look for fresh applicants to apply for our jobs, we used PDL as a secondary data source and found a couple candidates for some of our harder positions were exhausted.

Negative: However, we could not use it as a primary sourcing tool as it is not specifically built for recruiting. Yes, it has a candidate portion, but often times these folk are over qualified for the role or are not actively looking for work.

Summary: I would certainly keep using People Data Labs and will recommend it to my business network as well.

Positive: The first thing I liked is the speed, compared to similar products People data labs are very fast in returning results. Also, the format of the data is easily manageable.

Negative: There could be more data and probably a history of data with changed date.

Summary: It’s really good and by far the best enrichment CRM platform on the market, it’s very API focused which is something a lot of the alternatives don’t really focus on.

Positive: Lots of functionality for persona and company enrichment, one of the best in terms of expanding CRM capabilities.
API is seamless and extremely easy to use.
Ability to directly test and make calls through People Data Labs.

Negative: Limited without enterprise plan.
There are lots of options and sometimes the documentation can get tricky to use.

Summary: Amazing product, and if you have the cash, its worth it, but it is very expensive. If there are other price tiers with would be better.

Positive: Gets all the information perfectly and can find items other cant. Similar to things like Clearbit. The integration with make.com is awesome as well.

Negative: The price is the only thing, it is more expensive than Hunter, Lusha and Clearbit connect combined which means we connect the others.

Summary: It was a great experience implementing the PDL in our system, the API was easy to understand with good support documentation.

Positive: In addition to pulling information about People and companies from various sources, People Data labs have great documentation and awesome support. Their website is super easy to use with detailed analytics on where and how many API calls have been made.

Negative: The product is a bit expensive, and the free tier does not have updated information.

Summary: Good experience.
I will use this services for personal & non personal projects.
Data privacy is a must this days.

Positive: Easy to use.
Accurate info about personal and non personal data.

Negative: Doc to complicated.
Some api return null.
Fix come later.

Summary: PDL has become one of my "go to" tools when I'm stumped for a new lead. No tool is perfect, but PDL provides a lead or two when other tools come up empty.

Positive: Ease of use. Ability to pivot from one data point to connections with others quickly and take investigation to next step. I'm not a bulk user trying to build up lists of sales leads. I'm generally investigating or looking for leads on one or more persons. PDL often finds connections other tools do not.

Negative: Lack of visibility into algorithms. When I get a connection between data point A and data point B, I need some visibility into how the connection was made in order to evaluate its importance and explain it to clients. I understand that PDL operates in a competitive space and needs the ability to protect trade secrets. But a little more visibility would be helpful.
