PAVE Description
With PAVE, you can make your PDF documents accessible to all readers. The visual representation of the PDF document remains unchanged. You can make it available for free personal use. PAVE performs the automatic corrections directly. You can simply carry out the remaining corrections in PAVE. If you don't delete the PDF document manually, it will remain on the PAVE server until 3 weeks. PAVE processing cannot completely eliminate content or visual changes in the document. The user is responsible for checking the generated PDF files. The ZHAW does not assume any liability. The ICT Accessibility Lab has developed plugins to create accessible PDF documents in MS Word and MS PowerPoint. However, you cannot make existing PDF files barrier-free. This gap has been closed by PAVE.
