Salix is a GNU/Linux distribution that is based on Slackware. It is simple, fast, and easy to use with stability as its primary goal. Salix is fully backwards compatible to Slackware so Slackware users have access to Salix repositories that they can use for "extra" quality software for their favorite distribution. Salix is small and light, but requires no care. Everything in the iso has been installed.
