Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Load Balancing Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Flexible Load Balancing allows customers to distribute web requests over a fleet of servers, or automatically route traffic across fault domains or availability domains. This results in high availability and fault tolerance for all applications and data sources. The portfolio includes two services: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Flexible Load Balancer, (OCI Load Balancer), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Flexible Network Load Balancer, (OCI Network Load Balancer). OCI Flexible Load Balancingr is a service that primarily manages HTTP/HTTPS traffic. It also provides advanced routing features that distribute requests based on the content of the requests. OCI Flexible Network Load Balancingr, on the other hand, is extremely fast and has low latency. OCI Flexible Load Balancing provides a public IP address for front-end internet traffic within a single availability area or across regions. This ensures that applications are always available during peak demand.
