Born from a desire for a more satisfactory alternative to existing solutions, OpenSMTPD offers a comprehensive SMTP implementation. The project is mainly driven by developers Gilles Chehade and Eric Faurot, alongside contributions from numerous OpenBSD developers and collaborators from various other communities.
