Summary: I used this website for my PZ server, at first 4 days, not gonna get into challenges of running a server with them..
I have decided to extend the server for 30 more days, and I am trying to charge my account now, error codes are coming up even though I am pretty sure I am doing everything correctly, I am trying to contact support via ticket, but ticket also runs error code, I am simply unable to get in touch with anyone from support, joined their disord, same thing there, I am unable to create ticket there either, guys seriously, I am a paying customer who is fine with your product and I just need simple assistance with payment.

Crazy that you can't get in touch with them while YOU are paying them, I don't want to imagine what its going to be like when I will have a legitimate problem that would need some solving.

Positive: Not enough experience with the website yet.

Negative: Not enough experience with the website yet.

Summary: Playing Ark is nice, but it is NOT WORTH IT, I'm TELLING you! Don't do it! Stop giving money to this crooked company!

Positive: I got to play Ark with a friend. That was literally it. There is NOTHING else good about Nitrado. NOTHING.

Negative: The server constantly crashes, with no one to reach out to for support. Google will be a better support net than Nitrado. If you accidentally purchase a 3 day the game server for the wrong server type (PC vs console), you will not get a refund. If you purchase a 90 day server, expect the server to give you issues at least 20 of those days...and don't expect a credit or refund for ANY of your inconveniences (of which, there will be several)...don't even expect to speak to a human, at any point. If you happen to get a human, their required mantra is, "no refunds". Period. IF YOU STILL CHOOSE to get a server for some God-forsaken reason, make sure to turn off auto-renewal (if you can find it). You can contact them the SAME DAY you were charged for an auto renewal, and you WILL NOT receive a refund. No refunds. EVER. You will not get a sympathy vote, you will not convince someone, you will not find a "gotcha" moment. YOU. WILL. NOT. GET. A. REFUND. Best to talk to your bank or credit card provider and try to dispute.

Summary: Very poor experience with their customer service who outright lied about their ability to refund and cancel the service. Excessive run around trying to get help. Had to contact my credit card company to prevent further charges and dispute renewal.

Positive: The server worked and was reasonable stable and performant with moderate ping. Reasonably easy to set up.

Negative: Predatory billing practices. Automatic opt-in to subscription. The cancellation looked like it went through but according to them it did not go through. Difficulty creating a support ticket. Hiding their support email. Had to go to discord server to get it.

Summary: Horrible, pay for products you won't receive
Service that doesn't exist
Mods that are power hungry and ban you asking for support

This is just insane in 2025

Positive: I haven't gotten anything. Like no pros. Nothing is received but auto emails

They want a minimum of 100 characters to explain what the company did good and it's nothing. I can't do it in 5 characters

No support at all
No customer service
No refund
No contact
Discord bans you asking for support int he support channel

Nearly a week later I still don't have what I paid for. New company took 3 mins

Avoid this company

Summary: Look for a different provider. This hosting service is a joke and literally destroyed a whole gaming community due to lack of security - Ark. Plus, other providers are less expensive and provide more reliable and secure servers.

Positive: nothing. The hosting service provided is legit overpriced hot garbage with no support. Do not waste your time and money.

Negative: Everything. No security. No support. Overpriced.

Summary: Absolutely horrible. Customer support is nearly impossible to contact and when you do get a hold of them they're lazy, only offering up self help options. My server was dead locked and wouldn't start, they claimed it was mods. I removed all the mods and it still took nearly two days to hear anything back from the tier 2 techs after already waiting several days. This problem has been ongoing since 1-3-25 and still hasn't been resolved. They also will not issue a credit when they are at fault. Essentially they like to steal money. Sadly I reached out to one of they're competitors and they were more helpful than Nitrado even when they didn't have to be. If you're looking for game server hosting I would not recommend Nitrado. In fact they could offer me a year subscription for free and I would pass.

I recommend havoc game server hosting. Responds to tickets within 10 minutes, even at a low priority. They offer more options to improve game play on the server, ie more memory dedication and a higher CPU usage. They are slightly more expensive with advanced options, but still considered cheap and server slot is nearly quadrupled. Havoc Hosting is by far more superior than Nitrado.

Positive: There is nothing positive to say about this hosting services. Everything is horrible, from quality to tech support its all bad.

Negative: They steal money, no credit when service doesn't work.

Summary: I emailed them 2.5 hours after the auto renewal charge went through and I was told they will not refund the money. They say its their policy and its in the terms and conditions. Regardless of that fact, Nitrado knows exactly what they are doing, which is stealing money from customers who forget to turn off their subscriptions, Which I might add are set to auto renew when you rent the service, are not intuitive to turn off, And give NO notice ahead of time to let you know its coming do soon.

SO if you really need a server and can deal with a shady money stealing company then the servers were fine. But id sugest looking in to other options. Why risk getting your money stolen...

Positive: The servers worked for me, though i have read some people have had issues with them. overall the actual server was fine.

Negative: They will auto renew your subscription, and then refuse to refund you. They do not care about long term customers or how much money you have previously spent with them. they Will not refund you.

Summary: Awful. Use G Portal or any other provider. They will scam you out of money and auto renew your subscription even when you turn it off.

Positive: Literally nothing. This is the worst hosting service in existence right now. They have zero support or customer service.

Negative: Zero technical support.
Awful customer service.
They will automatically renew your service even when you tell them not to. Then if you ask for a refund the day they renewed it even though you told them not to they will say no.

Summary: So terrible. Very very very bad.

Positive: I liked that I was able to remove my game from Nitrado after I realized how laggy their servers are.

Negative: The worst hosting service I've used. It was so laggy I lost interest in the game.

Summary: I rate this 0/10 it is horrible please go somewhere else then this is a scam.

Positive: N/A.

Negative: I Bought Nitrado for 3 days as I was interested in it I then proceeded to try to set up my server the UI was overly confusing and made no sense I was unable to access configs and then asked for a refund as I bought it 20 minutes ago they then declined my refund.

Summary: I will never use Nitrado ever again. I knew it was a bad idea to do it in the first place but they are the only ones that have ark survival ascendant because they monopolized it. Done with this company and done with ark. If you want a server that sometimes works and is really chubby and has to be reset twice a day with no customer service and not even some sympathy with a customer who has not been able to play for a full month this is the company and server for you!

Positive: I did like that they had Arc survival ascendant servers even though they are monopolizing them I guess that's the only pro.

Negative: The ark survival ascendant server that I bought from them did not work it was working at one time and then stopped and would not start up I tried everything Google was more helpful than their customer service was for one full month I put in four support tickets all I ever got back was just restart your server which was absolutely no help so when I got a refund through PayPal Nitrado charged my Nintendo account -$ so in my account it shows I owe them money.

Summary: They deliberately obfuscate how to adjust and save turning auto-renewal off. They will argue on policy and terms with you during cancellation to scrape an extra month of charges out of you and block a refund. Read everything carefully if you do choose to use them. Any charges as credit you will never get back. They will charge you for credit purchases over the total cost of the service, then leave the excess credit in the account which you cannot use or be refunded and they will just claim after 3 years of not using it. Better services offered from other companies with less deceptive or sleazy business practices.

I will never use them again. Go read up on their employee reviews if you are curious why they behave this way.

Positive: Server stability and patching process has improved. I have tried them three times in the last 4 years (Astroneer Server, Valheim Server, and Enshrouded Server).

Negative: Their web systems and UI are clunky and still needs a lot of work.
Their credit and auto-renewal practices are near nefarious.

Summary: My experience with Nitrado has been absolutely terrible and I would not ever recommend ANYONE to ever use this company.

Positive: There was nothing I liked about the entire experience. Nothing worked properly from the onset, and the ending was far worse than any I've ever had with a host company.

Negative: Where do I start?
I was paying for a monthly subscription for Ark Survival Ascended. The server was regularly difficult to manage, and had some of the worst UI interface mechanics I have EVER experienced. The server experience was enough to make my friends dislike the entire Ark game, and only 2 people even tried to stick with the server.
On top of that, I attempted to cancel the automatic extension of my server, and several hours after I had cancelled, I got charged for the server anyway. They are refusing to give me a refund, stating that their Terms of Service do not allow for refunds of automatics extensions. Even if the Automatic Extension was cancelled, they will not refund a false charge. I have spent the last 5 days arguing with their customer service who refuses to give me a refund, so now I'm now going through my credit card company to dispute the charge because they are so horrible with their customer service.

Summary: For me, this is pure stealing practice taking 50% as a cancellation fee and after that not refunding even remaining credit back to your bank provider.

I was happy with Nitrado for a long time but this shady practice well ..

Hundreds of € taken away from me😡 113,70€ remaining credit after 50% charge, probably too.

Nitrado, keep my money. 💰 I don’t care anymore.

Positive: Nitrado as a game provider is good and solid partner. Their servers are rock solid and support regarding game servers and technical issues is Ok.

Negative: Problem is when you want to cancel all your servers you paid in advance and no longer want to use. Nitrado will not refund you. They will charge you 50% of all your remaining credit and keep all your remaining money on your nitrado account.

Ordering a servers for months till year in advance is not a wise here. If you will not longer need your game servers, They will charge you 50% of all your remaining money you invested into them.

You will receive credit but that credit they won’t refund to your bank account. You may only order another game server (what a joke charging (stealing) 50% from your account money you may use to order another game server from them only)

If you want a game server from Nitrado, never pay more than for 1 month in advance. Never pay them like I did, for 3 months or years in advance.

Summary: Shoddyy server services on ark ascended. Tons of issues never using again.will actively recommend against using them.

Positive: Their are absolutely zero pros to using them all they provide is a crap server hosting for ark survival ascended which is at best a crap shoot.

Negative: What's not a con at this from them ark survival ascended is a trainwreck especially for all the people who run servers with them are currently being faced with constant server crashes.
