Summary: It's one of the most ubiquitous DeFi wallets on the market. Almost every decentralized exchange and application allows you to connect with MetaMask. I recommend it.

Positive: Simple interface, easy to use once you get the hang of it. Seems to be one of the first and most widely accepted DeFi wallets and dApp browsers on the market.

Negative: Interface looks a bit dated compared to Phantom wallet. Sometimes is a bit buggy but I'm not sure if that is due to MetaMask or the network or dapp it's connected to.

Summary: Overall I feel like MetaMask is a great external wallet and browser. It connects well with other applications and is very secure. Definitely would recommend.

Positive: I like that you have the ability to both hold your Ethereum on MetaMask and connect other networks to be able to use other coins as well.

Negative: There is a bit of a difference between the desktop version and the mobile version. For example you have to be on the desktop version to add different networks.

Summary: Overall it's really great, I don't have much to add but I highly recommend using MetaMask for all Ethereum related stuff.

Positive: The interface is really easy to use, and it didn't take long to figure out all the features, which are not at all lacking. The Web3 browser built in is awesome too.

Negative: It can take a while for pages to load occasionally but not often.

In addition, the registration of new networks is quite simple, you just have to enter the port, the network address and configure parameters.

2- Another feature that I liked about this wallet is the great security it has for each of the accounts created within it, every time you create an account, you can set up a two-step security for that wallet, plus you will also receive a seed phrase that will help you regain access to your account quickly, this phrase is about eight words long, and you will need to keep it in a safe place so that you can regain access to your account when you forget your wallet address or password key of it. This security makes me trust this wallet much more.

3- The ability of this platform to process various actions simultaneously is impressive, which helps you to send assets to other wallets and what these actions take a few seconds to process correctly. The transfer blocks must be processed, and there are some wallets that take a long time to process the blocks, however, MetaMask processes them very quickly.

4- One positive thing about this wallet is the availability it has, it is currently available as an extension for browsers, which greatly facilitates the mobility that you can have within this wallet and the transfer of assets so simple, in addition, you can install it within your mobile device and make transfers from your cell phone quickly.

Positive: MetaMask is an amazing service to store a large amount of cryptocurrencies securely, the things I liked the most about this platform were:

1- I really loved the extension that is available for browsers, this extension is quite useful, it allows you to access your wallet instantly, manage each of the cryptocurrency funds that you have deposited, this extension is very beneficial to quickly access your wallet.

2- I also loved the way in which this platform allows me to deposit all kinds of funds without any type of Limit. I can store the amount of money I want without having to worry about any kind of Limit in this wallet, also, I loved the fact that I can register various cryptocurrency networks, Since I was able to register networks such as BSC and ETH.

3- Fund transfers are processed almost instantly, you just have to wait for the blocks in the transfer to be processed so that it is completed and the sender receives money, in addition, it is also important to highlight the low commissions that this wallet handles for sending money, This helps me a lot to be able to send a large amount of funds to specific people without paying a high commission.

4- It has a built-in browser, this browser is only available within the mobile version, and it is too functional and beneficial, since you can access any website and link your wallet instantly since the wallet is linked to the browser. This browser has all the necessary functions so that you can surf the internet smoothly and you can access any website and use your metamask wallet.

Negative: One of the main negative causes of this platform are:

1- It is a somewhat difficult wallet to use, since you have to register the corresponding networks so that you can deposit money into this wallet, therefore, the use of this platform can be a bit complex for those who do not have previous experience or some knowledge in cryptocurrency wallets, therefore, I recommend that caution be exercised when using it and depositing funds into it.

2- Despite the fact that the application for mobile devices is quite beneficial since it has a built-in browser with this application, it takes a long time to start correctly and correctly order the funds from your wallet, Therefore, if you want agility when connecting to your wallet, you can choose to use the browser extension, this way you will not have to wait a long time for the wallet to load correctly.

Summary: Metamask has met my expectations and my needs, mainly I started using this platform because I needed a place like a cold wallet to deposit my assets, so that in this way they remain safe and that no person can access them or for some reason they could lose The difference between depositing money in this wallet and it is an online payment processor, is that within this wallet there is no risk of losing money, the only way to lose it is to transfer it incorrectly to any other wallet. What I liked most about this platform is:

Therefore, this integrated browser will only serve you to access sites and link your corresponding wallet.

Summary: Overall, I think that MetaMask is undervalued. However, crypto wallets as a whole need to make their experience with less friction.

Positive: MetaMask as a non-custodial wallet is great as it allows for people to easily receive and transfer funds.

Negative: The only concerns that I have with most wallets is their on-ramp and off-ramp with fiat and also their usability by non-crypto people.

Positive: Honestly it sucks to have to use this at all, but it's the best option for connecting altcoin wallets and exchanges and swaps and such.

Negative: Having to use this product at all. But it does have good functionality.

Summary: When I first started exploring the world of cryptocurrency decentralized finance (DeFi) several months ago, I was lost to say the least.
Then I discovered Metamask which I soon realized was the standard for a browser extension crypto web wallet. Once I installed it a massive world was revealed to me.

The multi chain compatibility is incredible. A little bit of web searching and you'll find tutorials how to add custom RPC networks to Metamask which you can then switch between with a simple click. It keeps track of your coins and tokens across many of the L2 Ethereum side chains including Avalanche, Polygon (MATIC), Binance Smart Chain, xDAI, FANTOM, RSK and more.
This allows you to explore DeFi at its best. I can yield farm on Polygon, provide Liquidity on Ethereum and stake AVAX on the Avalanche Network all at the same time. Metamask doesn't miss a beat.
It also allows you to create multiple accounts (i.e. ETH addresses) based off your master private keys. I use this feature to keep what I call a separate reserve account, a savings account and a checking account and I treat them as such. The reserve account only gets crypto sent to it, but never sends itself. The savings account is where profit goes and the checking account is for day to day interaction with all the various DeFi protocols.

It's overwhelming at first, but Metamask has a really helpful support website and community forum. Just be ready to help yourself since they don't respond to support requests in a timely fashion.
Pro Tip: Metamask is an excellent software crypto wallet to help you get your coins on exchanges and into DeFi projects. HOWEVER, it is by nature a HOT WALLET, meaning it's online and therefore can be a target for scammers and hackers. Don't store large sums of Crypto on it longer than you need to. Keep your reserves offline in a cold wallet like a Ledger. This is not a flaw of Metamask, rather it's just the nature of hot wallets.
And #1 is when you install Metamask it will reveal a 12 word recovery phrase. THIS IS YOUR ONLY BACKUP OF YOUR WALLET. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND WRITE IT DOWN ON PAPER WITH PENCIL. STORE IT SAFELY AND NEVER, EVER GIVE THAT PHRASE OUT TO ANYONE.
Metamask will NEVER ask you for it, and anyone that does is trying to scam you. Never take a picture of it, or enter it on a computer in ANY FORM. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR CRYPTO SAFE AS POSSIBLE.
If you break any of these rules, even for 5 seconds, you risk losing your Crypto. Don't even point your phone camera at your phrase. Don't print it out. Don't copy it to your clipboard or password manager.
Simply write it down, check it, then store it safely. Never reveal it. It is only to be used to restore your wallet in the event of a crash or new device. No exceptions! You will thank me for this I promise.

To sum up, interacting with the DeFi space is next to impossible without Metamask. There are other similar extensions but none as efficient as Metamask. Stick to using it on a secure browser like Brave, and avoid too much use on your phone (it's a bit buggy that way), and read all you can about keeping your cryptocurrency secure. Metamask is a fantastic tool but you need to learn how to use it to build what you want in the DeFi space.

-Automatically estimates Gas (fee) prices based on transaction type and can also be user adjusted
-Can work as a bridge between your hardware wallet and the blockchain.

Negative: -Android and iOS versions can be buggy and laggy
-Doesn't automatically sever connections to websites after logging out. Requires manual disconnect, one by one.
-Support tickets can take weeks or longer to be answered.

Summary: Overall experience is bad because I am disappointed app is very laggy.
Bad reviews all over play store and app store.

Positive: What I like is it's easier to function.
Easy to buy crypto.
App design is good 👍
I can't think of anything else that's really good in this app.

Negative: Every time I have to switch app for example to copy sellers account number and to paste it in my payment app. It take me back to the first step that is buy ETH. It's frustrating.
In India the app is good enough bc there's no debit card transaction option.

Summary: Absolutely atrocious, do not recommend, use a better alternative, like, literally any other you can find that has some sort of decent security.

Positive: Nothing, ui was fine, nothing special and it was easy to use but that is about it if I'm being honest.

Negative: Well, horrible customer support, i lost $400 of WETH, which was there fault, I never used the wallet and al of a sudden it disappeared, my secret was stored securely and everything.

Summary: I will take my funds away as soon as i can. I will have to use multiple wallets to do what i did with MetaMask, but at least those would work and my funds will be safe.

Positive: There is no other option to use so universally.
Good for simple transactions such as sending/receiving.

Negative: Worst customer support ever.
Keeps bugging and there is nothing you can do to access your funds and customer support is inexistent.
Doesn't exist as desktop app, only browser extension.

Summary: Don't use it!

Positive: I found not one pro in this bad service. Very strange why this wallet is so adopted.

Negative: 1. Very complicated to use.
2. Poor support.
4. Poor usability.

Summary: Awful! I downloaded some tokens and they were frozen so I tried to reinstall MetaMask and the tokens are gone and there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT and I've had to hire an outside person to help.

Positive: I wanted to be able to use this to pay for things, to send money, to interact with dApps, but it froze up immediately.

Negative: There is zero support. My funds are gone just trying to interact with it. I have had to hire a technician to try and get my $$ back because MetaMask offers NO SUPPORT.
