You can manage your files as you do every day using two panels and the keyboard (and sometimes a mouse). The MaxCommander is here. MaxCommander allows you to manage files on both your local drives as well as remote file servers. The app supports multiple operations. The app allows you to browse and manage an archive's contents as if it were a folder on your local drive. All types of archives can be viewed, modified, created, and unpacked. You can browse, create, unpack, and modify tar.gz and tar.Z as well as tar.bz2, and tar.xz. MaxCommander can open archive files created on operating systems that do not use Unicode. You can select the appropriate characters to encode file names (available for arj/lzh zip, rar and tar archives). MaxCommander can connect with file servers, and you can manage remote files or folders on these servers. You can choose character encoding to be used for older FTP, FTPS and FTPES servers that don't support UTF8.
