Summary: Mailchimp is great and has a lot of systems that it integrates with (except Shopify). The automation and segmentation components are always improving and so is the email builder. Mailchimp is always one of my recommended technology stack products.

Positive: Honestly, I didn’t always love Mailchimp because I felt that segmenting and automation needed some work (it’s because of the Infusionsoft & Salesforce background in me). But, MailChimp has come a long ways and allows for those just getting started with corporate email tools to get in for free and allows techies like me to push the limits of email marketing and automation without breaking the bank.

Negative: Mailchimp has started to charge for multiple users. I just find this annoying and wish that continued to be a free part of the package.

Summary: Overall, Mailchimp offered us a cost-effective platform to send unrestricted newsletters with great customizations and customer segment targeting. I appreciate its analytics data which provides great information.

Positive: MailChimp brings leads and deeper relationships with customers. It completely allows us to customize the UI and banners for campaign emails. In terms of accuracy and information of analytics, it provides always stays ahead of any of its competitors. It makes it super easy to send campaigns and promotional emails.

Negative: The emails are sometimes marked as spam if we try to send multiple emails.

Negative: The email templates are pretty basic. Has very few integrations.

Negative: I didn't like that they are expanding to do ads and landing pages, both of which are probably great solutions, but I felt like they should have just focused on email which they were really great at.
