MRTK-Unity Description
MRTK-Unity, a Microsoft-driven project, provides a set components and features that can be used to accelerate cross-platform MR application development in Unity. This provides the cross-platform input system as well as building blocks for spatial interactions. Rapid prototyping is possible via in-editor simulation, which allows you to see the changes immediately. It is an extensible framework that allows developers to swap out core components. A button control that supports multiple input methods, including HoloLens 2’s articulated hand. Standard UI for manipulating objects within 3D space. Script to manipulate objects with one or both hands. 2D style plane that supports scrolling with articulated hands input. A script to make objects interactable with visual states, theme support, and theme support. There are many object positioning behaviors, including tag-along and body-lock, constant size, surface magnetism, and constant view size. A script to arrange a variety of objects in a three dimensional shape.
