Positive: the app itself is a true native app unlike Figma, which uses electron for it's desktop app

Negative: AI integration and not being able to import local Figma files

Summary: Lunacy is an impressive design tool that strikes a great balance between functionality and performance. It's especially perfect for designers and developers who prefer working offline or want a lightweight alternative to cloud-heavy tools like Figma. While it has a few limitations, especially around plugins and collaboration, the speed, built-in assets, and AI features more than make up for it. With continuous updates I think it's only getting better. A solid choice for solo creators, dev-designers, and teams on a budget.

Positive: As a full stack developer and designer, I’ve tried a bunch of design tools, but Lunacy stands out with its speed, offline capabilities, and smooth interface. The built-in assets and AI-powered features are incredibly handy and save me tons of time. Being able to work with Sketch files without any hiccups is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

Negative: Limited plugin ecosystem compared to Figma or Sketch — fewer community-built extensions.

Team collaboration is not as seamless as Figma’s real-time editing (though it's improving).

Learning curve if you’re switching from another tool, since some shortcuts and workflows are different.

Cloud sync and version history are a bit basic if you're used to advanced cloud-based tools.

Summary: This is literally great, I am making my own full emoji set rn, and it is sooooooooo incredibly easy!

Positive: - Literally whatever you want, you can make it

This software can make whatever you want, there are no limits.

Negative: I mean like, they don't really have any kind of chart support, so yeah.

Summary: It's an ideal open-source software. Easy to use, not burdening my laptop's system, and it is equipped with many features, like the icons and styles set. Very recommended.

Positive: Lunacy is easy to navigate and use. I run the software using Windows 7 and it's still smooth sailing :)

Negative: Rarely, there's some bug (usually from the recent update) that affected the whole canvas of Lunacy. But after changing to another version (either the older one right before or waiting for the newer one to come out), it works well again. Thank you.

Summary: It's a really great program with tons of features and AI integrations, I really can't believe it's free but it easily rivals the likes of Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape.

Positive: Literally, everything, especially that it's available for Linux and not just Windows and Mac. It's a great app! I also love the free publish-to-web feature!

Negative: It doesn't have the feature that Adobe Illustrator has to move object by reference point, but aside from that there are none.

Summary: I use frequently Figma and this is a great tool for free.
The interface is clean and easy to use.
All the items has their icon and all the tools are easy to access them.

Positive: We can work locally with files created from Figma, also we can create easy and professional designs with pre designed templates, and template parts.

Negative: Some time is non stable and we need to restart the program, in linux version if you crashed the program try to open the last file and continue crashing.

Summary: I started to use this app about a year ago and I didn't expect this app to be as great as it turned out to be.

Positive: Functionality is great, has a lot of built in assets ,easy to use, has collaborative features to let group of people work on a single project.

Negative: There is some little bugs that are annoying, but not critical at all.

Summary: If it would be open source, I would make me a tattoo on my left cheek. Providing such an awesome and stable tool for free is very much appreciated. Thank you for being a good player.

Positive: The usability is excellent. The performance is top-notch. This already sounds like a bought vote but it is:
As an old PS7 user I do not have to remember anything. Shortcuts are superb. The aligning is.... what I always wanted.
Shows CSS-Code.
Imports pictures and icons from icons8.
Does not connect to the internet
It's so freaking fast.

Negative: The UI on the left is too big.
It would be nice If there would be a f-key-shortcut to hide the toolbars.
I have only 1280x720 px size, but guess I'm not a designer.

Summary: It's very light weight app, Thank you friends for this beautiful app. Hope very much to have always updated app.

Positive: I used mostly Sketch app. This one is great, or ever better for several reasons.

Negative: Everything is perfect. Very professional, it offers a great user experience.

Summary: I recommend this app for designers or for those who are at the beginning. I think there is no need for watching tutorials as You go step by step through each button and menu to see their functionality.

Positive: HTML Preview is an excellent feature that I have no see anywhere.
There is a response for every subject I am interested in,
An important one is that I have icons and illustrations for free, and I love this.

Negative: I have no cons to mention. There would have been one, but I managed to solve.

Summary: Amazing for a first time using graphic design, incredibly easy to use and entertaining. DYI vibes. Amazing product for first timers and can be really immersive, even friends recommend this app.

Positive: Intro tutorial, easy to use, vast amount of items and customization. Great features that make it easy to immerse yourself without having to think too much about what you are making, just let your mind run wild. For first timers in design it makes the job so easy.

Negative: Some video tutorials for specific tools would be good and necessary.

Summary: Easy to pick up and learn. Fun opening tutorial. I don't have a lot of experience with other software, but for a free tool I highly recommend giving it a try. I was able to create a simple splash page and thumbnail for my youtube channel within a few hours. Layers and grouping are easy, and gradients are intuitive and more customizable than I expected.

Positive: Simple interface.
In depth tutorials and help.
Free.
The layers can be drag and drop arranged and renamed easily.
Nice selection of stock icons to use for free as long as you cite the source.

Negative: Some options are harder to find(Like flip vertical/horizontal) and the web help sections seems to be for older versions.
I wish the vertex curve handles could go down to single handle mode.

Summary: It's like my mind was read when building this software.

Positive: Absolutely the kind of software I have been looking for.

Negative: All is perfect.
