Summary: It's a great web-based application for designing charts and diagrams. Works equally well for individual and collaborative needs.

Positive: It's cloud-based and very easy to use. You can get started with your diagram right away. The virtual tour in the beginning is helpful. There are hundreds of templates to choose from, which really saves you time. The automatic alignment of lines and arrows is really helpful. Collaboration is easy. You can also easily create and save custom shapes and designs and use them in future works. My favorite part is the export with transparent background option.

Negative: The same automatic alignment of lines and arrows has caused me trouble when working with smaller shapes, as it gets difficult to get it to point where you want. The user interface is not that intuitive either.

Summary: Lucidchart is full of features for all your diagramming and charts related requirements. The user interface is very simple and easy to use. It is used to keep track of of all the previous versions of file which can be retrieved back at any point of time. It offers a good inventory of pre built template making it very easy to start with. The collaborative feature works great and helps us to create charts with shared perspective.

Positive: Lucidchart is one of the leading diagram and flowchart platform. It helps us visualise the workflow and system designs. It has great collaborative feature making it very suitable for brainstorming the ideas and visualising the workflows. It supports whiteboarding making it very helpful in day-to-day planning, discussion and collaboration.

Negative: It is a very capable platform for visualising your workflow and ideas through diagrams and charts. No Cons.

Summary: Lucidchart is a great visualization tool which makes it easy to collaborate on creating charts. It helps in making workflow and other designs easily and securely. It supports integrations from major cloud storage solutions and office suites. On top of that, it provides a decent free plan which is enough for basic usage.

Negative: It should allow to save charts on your local machine to be able to work offline.

Summary: Lucidchart makes effortless to create a business flowchart. We are very impressed and had a positive experience with it. we use this with Slack integration it gives us a platform to share directly on the Slack app.

Positive: #1- Its an effortless data visualization platform.
#2- It also integrates with Slack integration, gives you complete feature on within the Slack app.
#3- it's very easy and creates detailed visualization.

Negative: #1- We had a positive experience. Best Slack integration.

Summary: I have started using lucid charts recently, it has been a very smooth experience. The application is very good. Currently, they have only web applications. It has a slot of options for visualizations and lots of templates. The pricing can be improved.

On an overall level, it has been a clean experience with lucid charts and is a definite recommendation for companies of medium and large size.

Positive: Super easy way to create graphs and charts that can be used in presentations and other mediums professionally.

Negative: The interface is a little tricky but not too bad.

Summary: The free version can get you pretty far, so it's worth playing with if you have a need for this kind of tool. I found it to be better than other options.

Positive: Lucid makes building mind maps and systems charts easy and you can get things looking decent with a little elbow grease.

Negative: It's not the best on design side as far as choice of colors, fonts and custom shapes.

Summary: You can't except much if free version itself is sufficient for most of your charting needs. Easy sharing across teams makes design sharing and decision quicker.

Positive: Browser based UI easy to operate from any device.

Negative: Plotting is sometimes clumsy. Should have offline working and sync later on.

Summary: You won't make something really amazing with this, but it can definitely spruce up simple forms and charts you need to get done for work. It's easy to use, and pricing is fair. You can do plenty just with the free version. I'm really glad they have education themed templates, and plenty of the non-education specific templates could also be used in a classroom setting too.

Positive: You can customize and make your own graphics from scratch, but what I really liked about Lucidchart is the amount of default templates they had to work with, and the wide range of subject/themes for them. So much professionally software is very heavily designed around a corporate office environment. It's nice to see some educational related templates in there!

Negative: If you had the know how, you can definitely make charts and graphics much nicer than this in other programs, so this is very much designed for someone who only needs the basics for whatever they're doing. It can also be cumbersome at times when editing one of their templates.

Summary: Overall the tool itself it decent but the need for the higher priced plan for the simple integration with Bamboo HR is frustrating and the renewal process for us this year was a huge mess.

* Admin portal was buggy for awhile
