Summary: Love their support and their services! They are always improving their services which is great! Adding dashboards and more useful info to navigate better!

Positive: Even though they are extremely busy, they will always reply back and provide as much detail to support you! I’ve never been let down! They are knowledgeable at what they do! Every agent has been very nice! Their replies are personable so there’s actually a live human behind their response! They don’t copy and paste! If you still don’t understand and need more help, they will not be offended and respond back with as much support until you have what you need!

Negative: It can take up to a week or so but that’s not too bad as it shows the popularity of Koinly, more and more people use this platform due to the superb service! I’ve tried other crypto tax platforms and when I reach out for support they direct you to their support page; that’s it! Don’t have the personal attention I get like I do with Koinly team!

Summary: Koinly was great. Even though I waited until "crunch time" to finalize my crypto taxes, Stanislav was fast, very responsive and helped me get all of my wallets straightened out and ready to send to my accountant. I'll for sure be using them next year for my crypto taxes.

Positive: Easy to use, quick, easy fixes (if needed) and the chat support was great. Pricing was good and fair.

Negative: Honestly I didn't really have any. When I started my taxes they didn't have the Helium Wallet set up, but by the time I was ready to file my taxes, they had added it and I was able to easily upload my CSV file for my Helium Wallet. So I didn't have 1 con.

Summary: Michael from Koinly helped me tremendously with all the issues I had balancing my transactions. He provided continuous support with every issue I had and maintained a stable line of communication. I had several issues getting my Algorand tx's to populate and record correctly, however, Michael was invaluable in steering in the right direction and getting my issues resolved. The only downside is not being able to be Michael's friend in person because of how awesome he was.

Positive: Outstanding customer service.

Transparent reporting features.
Documents were easy to download and give my accountant, who had no issues reporting for me.

Negative: Lack of DeFi support for Algorand and unreliable API support.

Summary: My overall experience is very positive. I feel that Koinly as a product helps with the stresses of maintaining your transactions with cryptocurrency and with time it will not only be harder to remember to track your crypto but for what reason once it goes mainstream.
People are taxed for buying toilet paper or milk with fiat but if you use a visa card that has crypto as your currency there is a heavy price to pay and that needs to be changed!

Positive: I deeply appreciated Michael and Koinly's guidance working with my crypto transactions history and I deeply respect the ambition the team has with helping their clients like myself to feel comfortable and informed about their transactions.
I do feel that Koinly is standing out in this way. I have tried (it feels like dozens) other crypto tax and portfolio services but this one feels like it is clearly the best service with great and quick responding customer support.

I hope these individuals feel proud working for Koinly.

The videos that they publish with the guy with glasses are very helpful and I plan on staying with Koinly for the foreseeable future.

They answer a lot of questions in their forums but the videos and the customer support just top it off.

Negative: With all things in life there is room for improvement but honestly the majority of the issues are user error and user knowledge. You do have to dig around a bit to get some of the better forums based on your needs but if they can figure out a quick search or some pop ups around specific tasks like if you are doing things with a manual change or a specific transaction maybe a tab can pop up explaining best practices or if this is or isn't the right step to be doing this change.

Summary: My overall experience was very good mainly due to the support I received to complete my taxes. I am grateful for the great service Alex provided me! He was very responsive and insightful helping me through each of the problems that arose.

Positive: An employee at Koinly named Alex went above and beyond what he needed to do in order to help me. My crypto tax status end of January was in shambles. Alex walked me through the necessary steps in order to get things in order, where I was able to complete my taxes on time. I am grateful for the quickness in the response time to get this done. Thanks Alex!

Negative: I didn't see any cons to this product. The only thing that may be worth mentioning is the '10,000 free transactions'. I figured I was getting the service for free. That wasn't the case where I misunderstood. I felt the struggles that I went through regarding getting my crypto on track before tax season was over, was well worth what I paid in the end though.

Summary: I was having issues and did not know how to use Koinly. I emailed support and Alex "stuck with me", he answered all my questions and instructed me how to properly use Koinly. Positive: Excellent one on one customer support, helped fix issue and learn how to use Koinly. Excellent tier pricing. I am using it for the second year it gets even better. I had to contact help for the second time and received fast friendly expert help, fixed my issue fast.

Negative: So far I have not found a con. Koinly actually supports its customers and will not abandon you.

Summary: I am so grateful for the extremely attentive customer care team at Koinly. My needs were met promptly and - since the issue was somewhat complicated - met continuously ...and ultimately to complete satisfaction. With so much digital-based customer service happening these days, it is rare when any are satisfactory let alone exemplary. Thank you to the service team at Koinly. By the way ... the product is great too.

PLEASE: Take 2 minutes to read this and you will save hours of searching and stressing for a different crypto tax reporting software. Trust me! (I was in your shoes). I've probably only written a handful of reviews in my life, but Koinly gave me no other choice to boast their incredibility.

Koinly provides state-of-the-art crypto tax software to assist everyone from entry-level crypto investors and tax reporters (as myself) to highly-educated entrepreneurs and crypto-enthusiasts in the process of reporting all your cryptocurrency in accordance with your country's tax laws. From a comprehensive and detailed interface to ease-of-wallet sync via Auto-sync and/or csv reports, to identifying potential errors and providing a well-articulated guide (written and video) to resolve your problems, and lastly to generating your tax report with a variety of different reports available (Complete Tax Report, Schedule 3 [Canada], etc.).

I'll put it to you like this: I find difficulty dealing with my crypto taxes more than the next person, and Koinly alleviated all those worries through a second-to-none customer service support team with an All-Star player in an individual named Alex! A true life-saver.

Alex's cryptocurrency knowledge, interpersonal awareness and empathetic behaviour, in addition to punctuality and proficient articulation of all matters is remarkable to say the least.

- All-Star Staff (Grade-A Customer Support Service Team)
- Plans for 100-10,000 Transactions with Unlimited Wallets/Exchanges to be added
- For the mass relief of stress, you will find the prices VERY reasonable (don't be discouraged by seeing a dollar amount - allow that amount to reflect your relief of headache and concerns and fear). Cost vs. Reward Formula (Trust me!)

Negative: Absolutely none.

Summary: I can only say that they are the best customer support team. Anakin, Sam and Stanislav i want to thank each of you for your help. Highly recommended.

Negative: I did not like at the beginning because my setting was not correct but when you get to use it with their help nothing to worry about it.

Summary: I’ve had several questions on compatibility with certain wallets and exchanges, as well as conversion between currencies, and on all occasions Koinly has responded quickly with clear and concise information.

Positive: Fast and quick response to enquiries relating to questions on compatibility with certain wallets and exchanges, as well as conversion between currencies.

Negative: None.

Summary: It's been great. Taxes in this space are misunderstood and tricky. This tool makes it possible to deal with it and I feel confident I'll have what I need for the tax season.

Positive: Only tool to handle all my needs. Meaning all my transaction types (mining, gifts, buy and hold, sell, converts, etc.)

Handled every wallet, and exchange I use, as well as every coin I have dealt with this year.

Most importantly, service is spot on. A refreshing change from others out there. Every question I had was answered in a timely fashion, provided the right answers with backing material as needed, etc. Others need to take note!!

Negative: This is a nit, but I wish there was a desktop tool. I don't like having this data in the cloud. It's a con, but not enough to have me stop using it, as there is no one that comes close at this time.

Summary: Koinly is hands-down so much more robust in their features out of the box. I previously used one of the largest cointracking software programs but the interface looks like it was written in the early 2000s. I was confused about several issues I had when I first started using the software. I highly recommend Koinly for anybody looking for crypto tax software and portfolio tracking. Their platform also includes tracking heavy traders that may be doing futures leveraged trading.

Positive: The software is very intuitive and easy to connect every wallet you have. If you have any questions, there is a full knowledgebase including videos that provide details. Once you have your wallets connected, you can look at all your transactions, merge transactions that weren't able to automatically merge, and see your entire portfolio of deposits, withdrawals, trades, and gains/losses.

Negative: User forum is still growing and may not be enough technical support yet to hop over there and help answer some basic questions. However, I must admit I contacted Koinly and they jumped right in to help completely resolve my confusion.

Pricing is another heavy discussion item. In order to have Koinly produce tax reports, you do need to pay for each year. This is something that can be considered toward working on a better way to pay for the service. However, the features provided from the suite far exceeds other providers.

Summary: I would highly recommend this service to anyone. I tried using a different platform before but then I was confused with something, sent email asking for help but received no replied. So I switched to Koinly, before I even paid for any plan, all my questions were answered and the guy who was dealing (his name is Stanislav) with me even fixed a few errors on my report for me! (that's before I even paid for the service). English is not my first language and sorry for my bad grammar lol.

Negative: Doesn't support Cosmos Chain, hopefully this will change soon.

Summary: Highly recommend this software provided by Koinly. Especially if it complies with your income tax laws of your country. Some people believe they do not need to report and think they can freely trade in crypto with thinking about tax. This is very much not the case. You need to be using something to manage your trades and holdings. Koinly is great for me.

Positive: The system is user friendly. Peace of mind that it complies with my countries tax system. The data is clear if you take the time to read it. The videos support and guides are numerous however you do need to work at getting it right yourself and learn the technical language. The customer support I have received has been excellent, and I do mean excellent. They take the time to understand your issue and from time to time rectify it for you if you are struggling. The good thing about that is you are learning as you go and need less help over time. There is also an option to pay someone to go over your profile in detail. Love the tool so far using it for 2 years. My tax account loves it too as it makes their task so much easier.

Negative: I do not have any at this point. Maybe it is due to my relief that my tax liability is being tracked.

Summary: Technical support is truly the added value. I've needed it twice and they were always quick and kind in coming up with a solution!

Positive: Very intuitive and convenient to keep track of all transactions with your crypto across all wallets and exchanges. Ability to create annual reports for the payment of taxes.
Really recommended!

Negative: It does not support L2 transactions but is probably a feature of the near future.
