Summary: This software has completely upgraded and transformed my business. I would recommend this software to any retail business!
Positive: The team/staff. They are excellent. They are friendly, responsive and supportive. The POS is user friendly and the data that is collected is accurate and organized. The back of office is easy to use. If I ever have questions, I can pick up the phone and someone will answer and help.
Negative: I would like to be able to create my own reports instead of having to use their already created ones. Sometimes I cannot get the exact information that I am looking for by using their "pre-made" reports.

Summary: It's a friendly system, looks great in the store.
Maybe the most hard thing to do is feed the system, one time done that, everything came super easy and transparent.Positive: Excellent point of sale.
You can see everything online about the point of sale whatever you want, you can see the sells on a live.Negative: It is a system that can be used for many types of businesses, so, just details of programming.

Summary: I'd recommend this to anyone. It's easy to use and aesthetically designed. Tech support was always quick and helpful, though I rarely had to contact them for anything.
Positive: Easy setup, great customer service. Easy website integration (though took a while to set up), and easy to teach new team members how to use it.
Negative: Integrating it with our website took a while, but otherwise, it was great.

Summary: Our retail establishment has had great success with Korona. We tried 3 other POS companies before using Korona. Korona is the best, by far!
Positive: I really like the ease of the POS. It makes training and using effortless.
We use it in a retail setting and have had great success.
There are a couple things that I wish the system could do. I have passed those on to the support team, we will see if it's do able.Negative: About the only thing I have found that I didn't like was the scan data option for some vendors. Korona is currently working on this issue right now. I have great confidence that they will have it up and running soon.

Summary: Great.. I would recommend Korona to anyone needing a powerful cloud based POS system. The customer service is top notch.
Positive: Probably the best and most powerful POS for a cigar and tobacco shop...tracks costs with ease, and if you don't know how to do something customer service will walk you through it...happily and quickly.
Negative: Really nothing I don't like...any little glitch is rectified quickly.

Summary: I can't recommend the Korona team highly enough. They are extremely professional and didn't just disappear as soon as they got paid.
Positive: The support team is amazing. The onboarding and training process was also really simple. Overall, the POS has everything we need.
Negative: Restarting the POS can take a few minutes. That can be a pain if you are in the middle of a busy time and run into an error.

Summary: We are 4 months in with Korona and happy so far. They seem to be a newer system so I am hopeful some of my issues will be improved.
Positive: Easy to use, able to get help and have issues resolved quickly. Cost is good as well as being able to add features such as gift cards and customer loyalty. System is compatible with other integrations for online ordering, app, and delivery.
Negative: Inventory management needs work. Don't like that when I send an email for help, often is followed up with how I can do it on my own rather than just doing it for me. One of the features I was big on before switching since I am trying to run a business not do things Korona sold me on that they handle.

Software Devolution Continues to Amaze Edited: Aug 23 2024
Summary: What started off as a bit quirky but workable solution has devolved in the past few years into an intolerable mess. Our employees complain about features they rely on being removed, or 5x as many mouse clicks to do the same things. We always accept that SW isn't perfect but generally the direction is to improve. That is not the case with Korona.
Positive: Cloud based, feature rich, handles multi-tier pricing (retail, commercial, etc). Mostly good uptime.
Negative: SW does not handle Net terms, does not talk to QuickBooks. Lots of accounting irregularities.

Korona keeps taking away features we use daily such as checking stock levels and store pricing. Now we have to "Edit Product" to see the sales prices and customers will see our purchase prices when checking stock levels on the POS screen.
Ongoing bugs such as if you receive inventory at $0 (replacements, etc) then the COGS does not adjust at all.
Releases happen without notice, not even a scant of release notes, requires frequent reworking of our user docs and employee training.
In 5+ years as a multi-store chain, they have never once polled us for feature requests. Requests we've submitted are summarily dismissed.
