Non-existent customer support Date: Sep 11 2024
Summary: This company has gone way downhill. Cannot even get anyone on a call. Emails go unanswered. Horrible all around.
Positive: Absolutely no pros to this company at all. Several years ago, they used to have good customer service. Now you can't even get to anyone. No one replies to inquiries.
Negative: No way to contact customer support. The phone system just leads to a dead end and disconnects (with a very unhelpful "Have a great day!" message before abruptly disconnecting).

Difficult to Log In, Session Times out in under a minute Date: Sep 11 2024
Summary: I've seen what a utility billing system can be. Granted, I now live in a much less-populated area, so I don't expect a whole lot of bells and whistles on a municipal utility billing system, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for minimal functionality. Sadly, that low level of expectation is not met with Invoice Cloud customer interface.
Positive: Autopay works fine for me, but that's about all the "pro" I can think of.
Negative: I have to autofill my username and password and click log-in as fast as possible, and I actually get logged in after 5-8 log-in attempts. It takes multiple times of this lengthy log-in procedure to get anything done since my session times out after about 15-20 seconds of each log-in. Contacting my utility provider is of no use. They don't seem to be familiar with their own billing system.

Issue with Savings account Date: Sep 15 2022
Summary: Very poor support: they told me it’s was a configuration bug but they told otherwise to the city hall.
Autopay is bugged: for each, you have 2 withdrawals per bill (1 for fees and 1 for taxes) instead of a unique one (taxes+fees)Positive: I don’t have any pros. I’m using to pay my taxes but I’m not able to use autopay as I was able to it with the website used previously by my city.
Negative: My city switched last year to Invoice Cloud. I’ve configured autopay as I was used to with the old site. But it doesn’t work properly: for each bill, I’ve 2 withdrawals on my savings account. The issue is that Bank Of America transforms your savings account to a checking account if you’ve more than 3 withdrawals per billing period. Since I used my savings to other bills, these 2 withdrawals are really annoying. I got already 2 notifications from Bank Of America, so I disabled the autopay before my savings is transformed.

The support is weak. I contacted them about my issue; they told me it was a bad configuration by the city. I contacted the city hall, which contacted them to get some support with the configuration. The support told the city hall it was not possible to avoid the problem.
Strange, I never heard about a software that can not be corrected.
