Versatile Billing System for SaaS Date: Jun 06 2023
Summary: Our goal with Tridens Monetization is to achieve complete automation of the "Order to Cash" process, leading to significant savings in both time and resources. Currently, the platform is primarily utilized for efficiently billing our clients' cloud computing services, including data storage and security packages. We are also very pleased with the analytics and reporting capabilities.
Positive: A highly configurable product catalog allows us to quickly create new offers by bundling and re-using existing products. We are currently setting up a fully automated collection process through Monetizations' Business Operations.
Negative: While the Business Operations UI section is highly configurable and flexible, the user experience with the Job Chaining could be improved. There appears to be an upgrade planned on the product roadmap.

Information Security Services Billing Tool Date: Nov 26 2021
Summary: We deal with information security services and offer them to business and non-business clients. We mainly charge for recurring fees and ad-hoc charges, but there are a lot of discounted offers. Monetization gives us this flexibility and the option to automate our billing and invoicing process.
Positive: We can create new offers immediately through re-using existing products. Dealing with a lot of commercial clients requires this flexibility, because each contract has some special tweaks. Monetization’s flexible catalogue makes this very easy.
Negative: The user interface has some room for improvements on specific topics, but is otherwise very intuitive and easy to use.

Monetizing Consumption-Based Insurance Services Date: Nov 25 2021
Summary: Tridens Monetization is a very capable solution with a great support team. We were able to cover any billing use-case that came up as a part of our insurance related services. We mostly deal in simple subscription-based fees, but we’ve recently started offering usage-based pricing as well and Monetization is a great fit for that.
Positive: We can cover our entire business process in one solution with Tridens Monetization. From configuring our pricing catalog for our services, to managing customers, then automatically executing billing and invoicing through the configuration of scheduled tasks.
Negative: When we started exploring consumption-based billing options it took us a while to get adjusted to the new way of approach, but it has proven to work really great.

Monetizing Digital Agency Services Date: Nov 11 2021
Summary: We offer digital marketing services ranging from weekly, monthly, and one-time fee combinations. Recently we also introduced a usage-based model for customized campaigns. Monetization also keeps track of our financial reports and analytics. The team is very helpful and we were able to cover every use-case up to this point.
Positive: Our digital agency provides digital marketing services and Monetization really saves us a lot of time. We are able to set up complex discounting and consumption-based offers, plus there are features for financial reporting and Direct Debit payment transactions export/import.
Negative: There was a training process involved to be able to use the more complex features, which I believe could have been avoided if the user-interface offered more “wizards” and tips, since the interface is very intuitive on other areas.
