Intergraph Smart®, Production Powered By NESTIX offers a unique bottom up approach to controlling the entire production process within yards or fabricators. It is based on Industry 4.0 concepts. It has been used by more than 400 customers and is a reliable solution. It includes all functionality for work preparation, part nesting, and Numerical Control (NC), generation, as well as load balancing of material and resources. Smart Production uses a data-centric approach to manage all production changes. To gain valuable insight on the work progress, Smart Production provides real-time feedback from machines and workstations at all times. Material optimization can be made possible by integrating inventory, actual use, and remnant management. The Intergraph Smart 3D planning hierarchy setup is used as the basis. It visualizes in detail the current production status compared with the plan.
