Intergraph Smart Engineering Integrity Description
Engineering's next step is to create rule-based or knowledge-based designs. Engineers spend most of their time looking for data and ensuring consistency. According to ARC's market surveys, engineers spend between 40 and 60 percent of their time looking for or checking information. Intergraph Smart®, Engineering Integrity (SEI) will automate these tasks. It will check Intergraph Smart P&ID, Smart Instrumentation (INS), as well as Intergraph Smart Electrical designs. SEI can verify data quality and consistency against company engineering standards and practices, as well as cross-check across the application. This software can check if the control valve on the P&ID has been added to Intergraph Smart Instrumentation so that the correct process data and sizes are used.
