Informatik Scan Description

Informatik Scan, a universal user-interactive scanning software program that is compatible with TWAIN compliant scanners, is available. The scanned images can be displayed and saved as a single- or multipage TIFF or pdf (also PDF/A file) or in many other graphics formats such as JPEG, GIF or PNG. Optical Character Recognition (OCR), multi-page functions and redaction (whiteout, blackout), border and thumbnail removal, separator sheets, global and individual rotations, auto-trimming and black border removal, cropping and deskewing are just a few of the features. The following section contains a complete list. Informatik Scan can be used in conjunction with our Infothek Archiver document management program. You can scan documents and automatically name the output (single or multi-page) based on a barcode, text on the scanned pages, or separator pages. OCR is supported for most barcode symbols.
