IMS Utility Billing Description
The IMS Utility Billing system is the most flexible and versatile billing system at any price. It can be used to bill both private and public utilities. The system is simple enough to use for small customers with a few hundred accounts, but powerful enough to handle large customers who have many thousands of accounts. The system can handle unlimited customers. Utility Billing can bill metered services such as water, sewer, or electric. It also includes any additional charges such as pest control, late fees or assessments. The program includes standard billing forms (both for laser bill cards as well as laser letter statements). For an additional fee, custom bill forms can also be created. A new module will print the POSTNET Bar Code onto letter laser statements. This is a great cost-saving tool for large mailings. The IMS Utility Billing system interfaces to many handheld meters readers, allowing for quick data entry.
