Hatch Description
Increase your revenue with instant two-way conversations. This tool is designed for your home improvement team to automate all your voice, text, and email conversations in one collaborative workspace. Homeowners want a better experience from the moment they request a quote to the time they have their project installed. Hatch integrates directly with your lead sources. It puts you in touch with leads as soon as they click "submit". This includes voicemails, emails, and texts. Never miss another follow up. Hatch redefines follow up by automatically re-engaging every lead quoted after 48 hours without a response. Hatch takes the stress away of appointment confirmations, product updates and scheduling installations.

Hated It. Underwhelming. Doesn't work. Don't sign their contract. Date: Jul 09 2022
Summary: Hatch is not solving any of our problems. It created more work and wasted our time.
I started being more productive when i switched from Hatch to Salespype, which I highly recommend you check out.Positive: I really liked the chat-to-text feature. This was the only feature we used because it was the only thing that worked.
Albeit, the chat code they gave us to install on our website did not work at first. It went through a few iterations before it would work. This is how our hate-hate relationship with hatch began. With something really basic, not working off the bat.Negative: The downsides are that this app is faking it until they make it.

It is a half-baked tool that cannot be configured by the end-user. Everything from campaigns to workflows has to be done by hatch after going through their many 30-minute, weekly onboarding calls.
We paid a total of two months ($250/mo) and the only hatch "strategy" that worked was the chat-to-text feature in their "speed to lead" strategy. After a month of their onboarding, the following strategies were still not up and running: sales follow-up, customer experience, nurture and reviews.
You cannot demo this app on your own, it is actually done expertly on their demo call. On this call, you get to see all the bells and whistles and I was convinced this would be a great help for our service business....until, the onboarding starts and you immediately get the sense that 1) they are short-staffed 2) customer service reps don't know what their website and knowledge-base state 3) onboarding calls could have been reduced to one call, instead of rushing through 30-minute, weekly calls, before you are scheduled for another call a week down the road.
They state that hatch communicates with getjobber.com (our CRM). It might work for some, but it never worked for us. The chats and emails that we were having in hatch never made it back to Jobber, so we had to switch back and forth between apps to make sure we didn't miss any important information.
By this time, I've paid another month of service ($250/mo) and the campaigns and the workflows are still not up and running and they attempt to schedule a fourth onboarding call. This is when I stopped caring about hatch and started looking for an alternative.
