Summary: I am absolutely happy with the soft ware. I am so computer slow and lucky I can turn it on lol. The 2 ladies I speak to are absolutely amazing Sarina, has an easy listening voice and the other lady (forgot name, please forgive me) I love her đ and she is new and learning as well.
Positive: I absolutely love that I can call and get help right away.. it's easy to learn and hard to mess it up.. if you make a mistake its easy to fix.
Negative: More explanation as far as freezing and billing options.. I had to learn on my own though trial and error, and still learning.

Great software, easy to use, and consistent updates-- easy 4.5/5 Date: Dec 19 2022
Summary: Overall, great experience. Support is quick to respond with whatever issue I have. Updates happen often and you can't beat the price. They don't have all the bells and whistles as other programs, but they offer more than enough for the price. You won't be upset for choosing Gym Assistant.
Positive: Gym Assistant is extremely intuitive and easy to train staff on use. It handles majority of our needs as a business and they are constantly updating and adding new features. Support is usually super quick to respond and can solve majority of issues in just a few minutes or escalate when necessary.
Negative: Some of the updates could use longer testing phases to iron out all of the kinks. The online sign up page feels clunky and needs a redesign to make it more attractive to online users. There's no road map of coming updates or planned projects so you aren't really ever sure if something is going to be implemented. There's no place to suggest QoL updates other than emailing support which makes me less likely to suggest something that I would like to see implemented (an owners message board for suggestions would be great to see).

Summary: Gym Assist is user-friendly. Our facility has to manually record credit card payments. It would help if they were connected.
Positive: I am relatively new to Gym Assist but it is easy to understand and use. We would love to have it connected to our credit card payment portal so we would not have to manually enter.
Negative: It is not connected to our payment portal which would help considerably.

Summary: The system is handy and allows me to automate entry after hours. I have 4 stars mainly due to the reporting and the wear down of the key tags.
Positive: I like the one time purchase of the software and the 24 hour door entry system. It has allowed me to automate the front office.
Negative: The reporting can be difficult to navigate through, the system has a giant âassistance expiredâ on the screen, and the key tags for my members keep breaking apart, making it hard for them to enter the facility after hours. Would also be nice to have more merchants available to use for transactions.
