Summary: Very good customer support, quick easy set up. Would definitely recommend especially to start-ups.
Positive: This software is easy to use, beginner friendly and perfect set up for my small gym. One feature that stands out is the paperless option where you can send out documents to be signed without having to print!
Negative: There could be more features added to personalize.

Summary: Great, great support, friendly staff, professional service, easy to use product, easy to teach to new staff.
Positive: The ease of use. easy to set up and easy to teach to new employees. All the reports we use and we are not paying of the reports we never use.
Negative: It's not a knock on the current product but would love to have a group exercise class scheduling option.

Summary: It's a Great system. Easy to use. I have made money by using. Customer service is Excellent they are extremely responsive!!
Positive: Keeps me informed on clients' dates. I use it for my Dog training business, it keeps everyone together.
Negative: Sometimes the expiration dates don't add up correctly.

Summary: Would 100% suggest any gym to use this software. Easy to use and manage and the support team is great!
Positive: Fluidity and simplicity of the program! It works great, hardly ever any issues, one of the best software's I have ever used for billing and membership monitoring.
Negative: None that I can think of. I have been using Gym Assistant for over 3 years now and do not have a single complaint.

Summary: Overall great software system. I'd choose it again if I was starting from scratch. Highly recommend!
Positive: I want to start by saying I'm not a technology person. This software is incredibly user-friendly! You don't have to understand all of the ins and outs of your computer to install or update the software. Mistakes are easy to fix, and it has so many features. Makes the business easier to run overall.
Negative: There is an annual fee for tech support, although I'm sure you'd find that anywhere!

Summary: We have only had our fitness center open for a week. So far, so good. Onboarding was great. Customer service was friendly and easy to work with. I will have a better feel for that system itself in a few months. We started from scratch but the staff are all finding it a very simple program to learn to run.
Positive: Onboarding customer service help was excellent. System is laid out well. It was very easy to train staff how to add members.
Negative: Our fitness center has only been open for a week, so I will have a better feel for this system after a few months. I am wondering if I will be able to get the report info I want at the end of each month. There are a lot of report options, but from the reports I have tested, might not be the flexibility to filter the way that I would prefer.

Summary: The software is extremely easy to use and train people on. The value this provides when implementing this system can not be understated. Training time is minimized so staff are brought up to speed on the software incredibly quickly.
Positive: The program is easy to use, but more importantly, it's easy to train people to use it. Combine this ease of use and training with the fact that you own the software so there are no reoccurring fees, and it's a winner.
Negative: The email system can use some improvement. While not occurring often, we do experience members not receiving an email, or receiving it weeks after it was sent.

Summary: Gym Assistant helps us keep more thorough records of our members. The check-in process goes much more smoothly now.
Positive: Gym Assistant allows our recreation center to create multiple categories for the variety of membership plans we offer. The design of the program makes it simple to enter member information, and allows for detailed information to be included on each member's record.
Negative: The initial set-up for the categories appropriate for our membership plans and services was a bit tricky but the support team was very helpful in walking us through the process.

Summary: I love it and would recommend it to any size of the facility. You can make it as detailed or simple as you want.
Positive: Gym Assistant is user-friendly! Makes it easy to add, make changes, and track members. It's also great that they have a help section(support) for stuff that isn't day-to-day issues. The design is functional and can easily be customized. It's easy to navigate within the system.
Negative: I really do not have any cons for this system. I am not sure of the pricing for this system but I'm sure it's cost-effective.

Summary: We are overall very pleased with the service and software. It provided just what we needed and the switch was fairly easy and smooth. There are lots of options available that we don't take advantage of because of the current billing software we have in place. But it is nice to know that feature is available when we would need it. The Gym Assistant staff is very helpful.
Positive: Very basic and user-friendly. There isn't a lot of unnecessary information that is needed to add a member. Anytime we needed support, their team is quick to help and answer questions. We have not had any issues with the software since transitioning over.
Negative: Our members were used to the old software voicing any alerts out over our speaker at the front desk. Members got used to that to know when their dues were coming up or any alert as to why they were locked out and Gym Assistant doesn't have a way to do that. Sometimes it doesn't update every member that is dependent on the primary, so it's a disadvantage to have to go to every member and make the same updates.

Summary: Easy to set-up and use. Does what it says and more! Overall it is great software and I use it everyday in my gym.
Positive: It's simple to use and it just works. Easy to set up and manage and it saves us so much time on billing and other stuff.
Negative: Nothing really - it's great - it doesn't work on iPad but works well on other tablets.

Summary: Again, we are very happy with our decision to go with Gym Assistant! In the beginning we were very worried, but the more we use the software and discover the features in it, the more pleased with our decision we are!
Positive: First, and most importantly, is we own the software and there is no cloud requirement. We have been in business for over 31 years and have seen "big" companies in the industry that are no longer around. So owning the software and data is local with no cloud requirement is great and was very important to us!
We are finding more and more features the software has that makes managing a fitness center so much easier and profitable.
The ability to use any company, including our local bank, to process our ACH membership dues processing is a huge plus!
The software is compatible with standard hardware so we are not locked into using unique hardware available from only one company/source.
The support has been absolutely amazing! When we first moved to Gym Assistant, support converted our Access database data to the Gym Assistant software so we didn't need to do all of it manually. We needed to add pictures to member records and attach scanned documents to the member records. Everything else was converted over, which saved us a ton of work and time as well as frustration.
We are very pleased with our decision to go with Gym Assistant! The ongoing software updates and new features being added to Gym Assistant is great!Negative: These are not "cons" per say, just features we would like to see. 1) Fully automated birthday emails to members, requiring no action on our part. 2) The ability to have a back-up payment source in the case of a returned ACH draft. 3) Referral/source tracking to see how the member heard about us. 4) RenewActive insurance report export. 5) a graph style report showing attendance levels throughout a user-selected time frame, such as for a specific week or month.

Summary: I am absolutely happy with the soft ware. I am so computer slow and lucky I can turn it on lol. The 2 ladies I speak to are absolutely amazing Sarina, has an easy listening voice and the other lady (forgot name, please forgive me) I love her 🐕 and she is new and learning as well.
Positive: I absolutely love that I can call and get help right away.. it's easy to learn and hard to mess it up.. if you make a mistake its easy to fix.
Negative: More explanation as far as freezing and billing options.. I had to learn on my own though trial and error, and still learning.
