Summary: Guideline was simple to explore, partner with, execute, and maintain. I'm really glad we found out about Guideline (through Gusto) as a retirement solution and we plan to continue to use them longterm.
Positive: Guideline makes something incredibly complex feel really simple. Things are explained in plain terms and, even for a first time benefits administrator, it was easy to execute.
Negative: Some employees might not like that there's a required 1% retirement contribution.

Fees have increased, customer serivce decreased, no new features. Date: Sep 11 2023
Summary: Spoken with Guideline several times over the years and each time I am left with the impression that our company is more of a burden than an asset.
Last year they doubled their pricing, including adding fees for individual users. When I asked them what we received in return for paying more the answer was nothing.
Called Guideline today. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes I accepted the prompt for a call back saying I would not lose my spot in line Several hours later I received an email indicating they received my message with a link to their help section while I wait.
So to sum it up, we are paying more, customer service has degraded, no new features or services, that benefit our company have been added (in years).Positive: Integrates with Gusto payroll services.
