GrapesJS Description

Next-generation tool for creating templates without coding. GrapesJS is an open-source Web Builder Framework that combines a variety of tools and features. It was created to allow you (or your users) to create HTML templates without needing to know any coding. It is a great alternative to the WYSIWYG editors that are useful for content editing but not suitable for creating HTML structures. It's easy to see in action using the official demos. However, you can also build your own editors by using its API. If you want to build things faster, you can bookmark the official demos. GrapesJS comes pre-built with blocks that will make it easier to create your templates. You can add your own blocks to the default set if you feel the default set is too limited. GrapesJS has a powerful Style Manager module that allows you to style any component within the canvas independently.

    Summary: Overall I was very happy with GrapesJS as it enabled me to do a job I needed to do. As for being up there with the other builders it definitely cuts the grade.

    Positive: Easy to implement and extensible with plenty of easy to follow getting started guides. Overall very professional.

    Negative: More getting started guides or example configs for more advanced users.
